Haven’t y’all heard? Now that we have fallen off from trending with Italy, deaths are now just a red herring.
Even though just 3 days ago it totally meant we were the next Italy and would be seeing 600 deaths per day by Friday.

The Reuter’s article claimed that nursing homes did not have tests and no one was coming to test inside the nursing homes.

Anyone know if there is a number of people that may have recovered? I'd assume most of those 4,000 cases are no longer contagious?

I would imagine at least 25-30% of those tested positive are either fully recovered or almost there.

Some people would be considered recovered and they haven't even gotten their tests back yet.

So when it says 6100 new tests, are today's numbers coming from those 6100 tests? Or is this more of a lag and probably a representation of the 6500 tests 4 days ago?

Yes. I would imagine as the ventilators become free they go back in the available column.
