My son has this.

Crazy how bad the rebrand was executed.

That shirt is beautiful.

I’ll also add…vintage signs are awesome. Gas signs, highway signs, beer signs…great stuff.

Imagine what a Pontchartrain Beach would look like these days. You'd need a special Police force.

A trademark is not considered valid if it has been abandoned due to non-use for a significant period, typically three years, and without the owner's intent to resume its use. Even if a trademark has been registered, if it's not actively used in commerce, it can be deemed abandoned and lose its protection.

No you won’t. You’ll have that exact metal sign wherever you want…

Who in the hell is gonna care?

I hope you’re joking…

the gondola over the river was terrifying.

Completely terrifying to seven year old me.

But my dad was being a little bitch about safety and refused to ride so my mother took me.

She was smiling the entire time.

Another digression - Quality Seal Ampitheater was legit, right on the river. Vaguely recall Letterman doing a show from there. Plus great music. Saw The Cold and others.

quote:

Musicians performing at the Liggett & Myers Quality Seal Amphitheatre included: Air Supply, James Taylor, Cheap Trick, Jimmy Buffett, Patti LaBelle, Neil Young, The Go-Gos, Linda Rondstadt, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Captain and Tennille, INXS, Kris Kristofferson and many, many more. Other standout entertainment included sports (specifically boxing and gymnastics), comedy (including George Burns and Red Skelton), Alvin Ailey Dance, the Vienna Boys Choir, the London Philharmonic and the Boston Pops.
