As I understand it the interview never happened Ard did the presser instead of sitting down one on one.

So it’s all but confirmed that Eric McNeil is meauxjeaux2, correct?

Why would BRPD write a report about allegations that allegedly occurred in the LP? Add is a mandatory reported by statute. Once he even “hears” of an allegation he has to investigate and report it to DCFS too.

Eric Mcneil is a sick pos too! Abused his wife and step kids among other things.
His facebook page has a big following. He is making a huge mistake constantly playing the victim (even though he is) and posting the stuff that happened to him every day. This story about Perkins and Sheriff Ard is what he's been waiting for. Time to move away from his personal dealings and continue the narrative that they have given him on a silver platter. I don't know that he's intelligent enough to see this for himself.

I think those comments are from watching the presser where he took questions, some from Nak and that part got heated. I am 99% sure there was no sit down with Nak as it was supposed to be scheduled for 10am yesterday which is when the presser occurred.

Oh, ok. It's getting hard to keep track of everything at this point.

Chatter in the thread claims that prior drug use and an admitted history of theft caused him to flunk his polygraph, then Ard personally overruled it to hire him.

There's no interview. He was supposed to have a 1 on 1 with Ard but Ard decided to do the press conference.

Better get those in EBRSO doing the same

Ard did a sit down with the Livingston Parish New guy for their podcast. You may have to have a login to listen.

Many folks in Livingston Parish are emotional and want to point the finger at the Sheriff claiming there were too many red flags, allegations of misconduct, etc for Mr Perkins and that he had to have known he was a bad seed.
.
Sounds so much like what we heard from Penn State after Sandusky's arrest

And much like JoePa, Ard intentionally turned a blind eye to warning signs pointed out to him.

If this was the mafia Ard would get whacked for vouching for Perkins. Might be a good idea.

His take on the meth planting incident is total BS. He says that the public was only able to see the video on their phones while his department was able to watch it on the "big screen", as if that technology is unavailable to the public.
eta- Finished it. The interviewer was terrible. He was feeding Ard answers by the end of the interview. "Is it fair to say that this is a situation where you're trying to do things better but you're focused on the victims?" Real hard hitting journalism, buddy. I wouldn't be surprised if Ard paid for that "interview".

Not defending ANYONE, but you can see in the meth video on a regular computer it's a flashlight. LOL.

So Ard is sticking with the claim that his office didn’t know that the restraining order in 2011 against Perkins was for their deputy because the order had his proper name which no one at that department knew him about.
Well look to the right of his name. It says serve him at the Rosalie Avenue address or at the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, narcotics division.
How many D. Perkins did LPSO have working in their narcotics office at that time

The cops didn’t need to plant anything at Mcneils house. They knew that if they showed up at his house there was a 95% chance drugs were going to be found.
