The issue here is that everyone has dirt on everyone. Now that Perkins is locked up and probably has more dirt than anyone else, this has turned into one big arse game of chess. Everyone is sitting back waiting to see who comes forward first.

Ard is 100% at fault for not documenting complaints & if he had any common sense he would change the procedure & start keeping track of every complaint on paper

LPSO supervisor Denny Perkins gets arrested for 60 counts of kiddie porn and rape of children under 13
His wife, an LP teacher gets basically the same charges
Nakamoto finds the results of a polygraph test Perkins took for employment at LPSO in 2002 where he admitted to doing drugs and previously stealing from his employer. Not only is he still hired at LPSO, he gets a recommendation from Jason Ard.
Nakamoto finds a restraining order that was served to Perkins regarding his ex-wife in 2011 but he wasn't reprimanded over it, nor did it appear in his personnel file. The sheriff's PIO even tried to claim they knew nothing about it until Nakamoto presented them with a copy stamped with their name and the date it was served.
Nakamoto finds a complaint from 2014 stating that Perkins crawled in bed with 2 underage females. The complaint was brought to Ard, the sheriff, by one of the female's stepfather, who was also an officer at BRPD. Perkins wasnt reprimanded over it, nor did anything about it appear in his personnel file. Ard claims that's because the complainant didn't want to file an official report and that Perkins said he didn't do it.
A press conference is held amid pressure by the media and Jason Ard decides to do a Q&A which turns out to be a complete disaster. He gets hammered by Nakamoto and Kiran Chawla. Turns out looking like he's completely covering for Denny Perkins, his friend and "family" member.

Ard’s either deleting negative Facebook posts on his page, or he still has a lot of supporters, and I have no idea how you’d back that guy after his presser and interviews.

Sounds like some of the videos I've seen where folks go in to file a formal complaint and they either won't give them a form and only want to discuss it or they outright harass them.
