He speaks just like you'd expect a high school graduate who became sheriff in LP would speak.

I don't see how anyone that watched the full presser from this morning can still be carrying water for Ard unless they are tied to him in some significant way.
He basically admitted to the crime of failure to report and just shrugged off the incompetence he used to sidestep the blame of missing the reports and restraining order which I think was willful but in either case, it seems time for resignation or recall.

I had the news on and wasn't really paying attention until I saw the Ard guy's press conference and him saying how irresponsible the girl's father was for not filing a report and that if it isn't on paper it didn't happen.
He made himself look like a complete idiot. Here he has an officer who was making kiddie porn and it came out that a BRPD officer had gone to him in 2013 to tell him that guy who had been making kiddie porn, crawled in bed with that guy's 11 year old daughter and since he did not even bother to look into it he is trying to put it on the guy who went to him about it.
He sort of set himself up because now, if there is any type of issue he looks into and takes care of.. If there is no paperwork then why did he look into that matter without paperwork and not an issue in which another officer from another department went to him, to tell him one of his officers crawled in bed with an 11 year old.
