Fascinating. It would be impossible to exaggerate the story of Barry Seal. Broadmoor's native son. Driving past that Salvation Army on Airline Hwy when I was young, dad telling me that a man was assassinated there by Colombians.....I remember being captivated by it. He would tell me they cut him down while he was on the shitter in the wooden port 'o potty in the parking lot, but I can't confirm whether that's exactly how it went or not. But there's no more interesting topic in my opinion than the life and trials of Barry Seal.
ETA....forgot to mention the fee the attorney quoted the interviewee to represent him in the federal criminal matter - $600,000!! I can't hardly fathom it, mainly because I have a pretty good grasp of what all goes into such representation....and it ain't quite 600k worth. But the attorney attempted to exert his leverage, ultimately unsuccessfully.

He's been here long enough to not mindlessly freak out about a "blind" link he posts too. Seriously, that complaint is silly.

That whole podcast was great. Every Lex podcast is great
I just finished up with the Dan Carlin episode and it was so great.

He's great. It took me one or two episodes to warm up to him, but now I love his podcast.

Lexs podcast is top notch. Has such a diverse guest list too. It's like Rogan without the comedians amd ufc shows. Although he's had Tim Dillon and other comedians on before. Eric and Bret Weinstein are both regulars
