You aren't very bright.
He is claiming that Sen. Colomb and her ilk are opponents because they, along with just about every other NBR politicians, have placed illegitimate and illegal hurdle after hurdle after hurdle in front of the St. George movement. They are doing anything and everything they can to prevent a true vote on St. George incorporation.
And in what world do people residing outside the jurisdiction of a political entity get to vote on it's political matters?
Should we Louisianans get to vote in the Texas Governor election because it tangentially affects us?
It's utter nonsense.
I live in the proposed area. I didn't sign either petition and up until about 18 months ago was against it - not because St. George didn't have the right arguments (they do) - but because I felt there may be a way to satisfy the needs of the area while not creating a new jurisdiction. But after the antics and blatant incompetence coming out of City Hall; I'm all in.

As an outsider looking in, things like this only strengthen St. George movement. If I were on the fence I would want to vote against people who support this kind of frickery.

As written the law, if passed, would go into effect August first of THIS year
Also, why 440,000 number??? Could it be that the last census counted EBR at 446,000???
