Think of how many lives will change when they hit that parlay

Just because you are a degenerate gambler doesn’t mean the rest of us are. Btw I just put half a grand on the jets tonight. I can feel the heater coming!

I’ll give you that. I can see college aged kids being the front runners of some problems here. Is it pretty easy to play poker and play online casinos still? It was back when I was in college

Credit cards should be banned from this honestly.

Why would betting on sports be any different than video poker or casinos that have been open for almost 20 years in Louisiana??? Don’t agree with your logic.

Because sports gambling in La. is about to be available through your PHONE.

Right, people have been betting with Bitcoin for years. This board used to be something. Now we are getting PSAs about betting addictions.

There really is not much difference in playing options or buying crypto vs gambling these days. Guess which ones you can do daily from the comfort of home using the internet in all 50 states.

but if I woulda have bought $7k in Bitcoin instead I’d have like a gazillion dollars right now.

After watching my crypto accounts go up and down like they have this year, I don't think regular gambling is going to do it for me.

This thread is some real boomer shite. As mentioned bitcoin, trading options, draft kings, fantasy football, etc. have all been around to do on your phone for years now. To act like all of a sudden sports betting is going to turn people into degenerates over those things is naive.

I agree but I think there should be a restriction on credit cards. If you lose your bank account money it’s one thing. You put up tens of thousands in credit card money and don’t have it in the bank, then that’s a big problem that could pose bigger problems.

Yea or people could do it using Bitcoin like they have been doing for a decade now. There have been plenty of bitcoin sports betting sites for a long time now.

Not to mention you can easily drive to MS and bet if you want to bad enough.

I’ve been betting on sports since I was 18. I’m 28.

Used to use about $20 a week when I was younger. Now that I have a job. I give myself $50 a week to play with and hope I hit a parlay.

Have to have self control baw

I think we should let stupid people do stupid things as long as it doesn't directly affect others.
