Would you stay if they served more food and drink at the end of Mass?

I've done it once in the last 10 years and it was a few weeks ago. I had to take my son to 5pm Mass when everyone else went that morning. It seemed like a rare chance to avoid the traffic since it was just the boys. My wife would never.

It felt a little trashy.

Best part of mass for me growing up was watching the hot chicks going to get communion.

Then I realized the Catholic Church not only harbored but made a safe haven for pedofiles.

I love Jesus. Amazing how many ‘Christian’s’ go to these churches and revolve their whole life around the book they refuse to read for themselves.

The book is really straight forward. I’ll never step foot in one of these money making schemes again. Read the Bible for yourself

That's how I was raised in the Episcopal church where Jon Benet Ramsey is interred. My mother was a Sunday School teacher there, and it was common practice for us to walk straight out after communion. They even had a side door for it, so the others couldn't see you walk all the way out to the main entrance. Poor little Jon Benet raped and beaten to death by her retarded brother, some say, and with everyone dead now we'll never know the truth.

If you attend, you should stay for the entirety. IMO.

Shouldn’t that be the person who left earlys problem?

Never bothered me personally but I’m now a mass 2x per year person and don’t go every Sunday. Don’t feel like I have any room to complain even if I actually cared enough about other people doing things that don’t directly affect me to complain.

The timing of this thread is interesting. People that only go to church for major religious holidays are the real trashy ones IMO. Even more so if they take communion and promptly leave.

The easiest way for a dipshit nobody likes to score cheap up votes from people who otherwise think you suck.

I suppose there could be reasons for leaving before the final blessing but to walk away while the Eucharist is still exposed is really hard to imagine. If you believe Christ did what he did and said what he said and was who he was then there is no way that you could walk out at that point.!

Yeah it’s shocking how low attendance is now except for Christmas and Easter. And the people that do go weekly are mostly older.
