What bothers me more where I go is the screaming and crying toddlers. Why can’t the parents take them out and maybe practice staying quiet with them at home? It’s very distracting for parishioners who are trying to hear what the priest is saying. Or better yet, get a baby sitter.

Our church encourages not using the cry room and welcomes the sounds of our youngest. What better sign of God’s gifts to us than the sounds of new life?

No. I've not seen one.

So you are that parent that lets their kids act out in church instead of taking them outside and disciplining them for being disruptive just because they are the "future of the catholic church"

Get the f outta here

Pathetic

How would you like me to discipline my 14 month old for being a bit fussy at times?

Our cry room is oftentimes full. I’ll bring her to the vestibule, but you’re going to occasionally hear a baby in my church.

You go outside until she isnt fussy if she's being a disruption. Its not rocket science

Meh, our pastor doesn’t have a problem with it. If she’s too disruptive I do bring her into the vestibule, but she’s going to make a sound now and then. Sorry not sorry if that bothers you too much. We’re in a big church, there is plenty of room to move around if you’re being bothered that much. I would be more self conscious if we didn’t have a young congregation full of other kids also making noise.

Well, I would still like to hear and focus on what the priest is saying. Isn’t that the point of attending?
