Leon Russell was an incredibly talented musician. A multi instrumentalist, his singing, but more so his arranging may have been as good as any musician ever!

There are different styles of guitarists out there. Many get a lot of recognition and acclaim because of their ability to play many notes in a short period of time. That is all well and good and sometimes I do enjoy that. But there are a handful of guitarist, who know how to get the absolute most and best sound out of every note. Guys like Dickie betts, toy Caldwell, Albert King(and some others) I believe these guitarist and others like them are in a class all by themselves!

Seger,(others are distant) Tom Petty, Mellencamp, Springsteen. I like music by all of them, but unfortunately, the politics of two have turned me off. John Mellencamp was a good songwriter in his own right. Minutes to memories.
