Yeah it’s shocking how low attendance is now except for Christmas and Easter. And the people that do go weekly are mostly older.

In small towns with no young people yeah.

While we're at it I can do without greeting each other in Christian fellowship. Just let me sit there and mind my own business.

The guy who invented leaving right after Communion was Judas Iscariot.

I left right after Communion this morning and don’t feel bad at all. I had 4 children with me, one was under 2 and another is autistic so I’m glad was just able to make it. God understands my situation and I’m sure He’s perfectly fine with it. You judgy idiots need to keep to yourself and quit worrying about everyone else.

Left the Easter Vigil last night after communion. We never do that, but it was a 3 hour Mass and almost 11 pm. My 3 year old had had enough.

One of our priests directly addressed this once. He said people who do that gladly spend three hours watching a sporting event, but 50 minutes a week for God is where they draw the line.

What bothers me more where I go is the screaming and crying toddlers. Why can’t the parents take them out and maybe practice staying quiet with them at home? It’s very distracting for parishioners who are trying to hear what the priest is saying. Or better yet, get a baby sitter.

If the homily ran long and it’s 1:15, maybe. Otherwise, wait the extra 7 minutes and get the final blessing.

Growing up, the rule was the last note of the last song. We had priests that would not process out until after the 2nd or 3rd verse of the closing song….COME ON, JUST GENUFLECT ALREADY!!!!

I go to mass every week (and holy days of obligation). I leave after communion (my father must be rolling over in his grave). What really pissed me off this morning was all the people there that don't usually go to mass. . . AND someone was sitting in my regular spot (dad would've made that person move. . . I saw him do that more than once. . .I sure do miss that ole SOB)! Happy Easter!

Yes, I'm old.

I find it hysterical that one of our ushers routinely walks straight out the door right after communion.

maybe it's his shift at the eucharist adoration chapel

If he'd fix the traffic and concessions people would stay.

And let the organist play Neck!
