Link to poll? Until recently our government denied the existence UAPs, much less aliens so I'm not sure how it contributed to the influencing public opinion prior. And I'm not necessarily saying it is bullshite.

I think suddenness and amount of coverage is surprising to a lot of people but most just shrug their shoulders. I think those that are distracted by it are either very into the subject or are irritated by it for some reason.

Because the aliens don't yet have their shite together?
I certainly don't have the inside track on this, but I can't imagine aliens coming to our neighborhood and not already being locked and loaded and ready to pounce....if indeed pouncing is in the plans. Surely they wouldn't drop clues that they're on the scene, then allow us time to figure out how to defend against them.

Because we can't. We don't have the technology, aircraft, weapons etc. to shoot down an alien aircraft. FACT
Why do you think Trump created the "Space Force"? That had been in the works for years but the government now sees these UFO's as threats. They could take out our military in minutes if they want to.
