Looks like Laura has really good outflow on its northern side. Further evidence that she continues to strengthen. I imagine she will have a pretty well-defined eye tomorrow morning.

There has been a notable rightward bend in Laura's short-term track the last 6h or so. I'd argue this is likely because outer-core convection is no longer biased south & is now more symmetric & even shifted a bit east of the TC center, as the shear vector shifts out to the west

Wife and some of my kids went to margaritaville in MS.

You BR guys- she called me a bunch on the way. Waze took her off the interstate in BR. She was on O’Neil and Florida. How close was I to not paying alimony?

ETA: kids were in a separate car.

That hazard per diem isn't going to spend itself.

Are Hooters and Twin Peaks open? Do the girls have to wear masks? Those baws are about to work their balls off for the next few days. They deserve beer and titties and cute girls before the shite starts.

TWC earlier said the surge will make it all the way to Moss Bluff. They left out the part about how that will only affect you if live by a body of water. Someone I know called me worried that storm surge was going to go through every tree between the gulf and Pentangelli Square where they live.

Fear-mongering on TWVC is worse than CNN

When will they start using names like Brayden, Jayden, Kaylynn for hurricanes?

Would be an improvement for most of them if we’re being honest.
