The computer models just want to play with your emotions so they can get some money for the gas stations and grocery stores in Texas.

shite, if that's the case, wait til it passes and go wherever with little to no traffic.

That doesn’t solve the kid problem.

You’re not in anymore danger by having kids, but the discussion becomes do you want to deal with their fears.

If you don’t have kids, do whatever you’d like obviously.

Marco isn't playing nicely so far. It needs to move west to let the ridge build.

Stout, what kind of really important job do you have where you require both internet, and electricity, for work, and feel the need to tell us in every post? Most of us here probably use carrier pigeons and the sun.

Hard to keep up with all the speculation in this thread. All this talk of Houston landfall and it weakening is giving me false hope.

Not much in the way of weakening trends on any of the models, but I guess it’s all relative. Landfall is still up on the air though for sure.

That's a good option for people who live close to the interstate or major highways. If you are deep in a neighborhood or in the sticks, there is a good chance that they roads could be blocked by downed trees and powerlines for 2 or 3 days.

HWRF as intense as ever, but HMON coming up a little with the pressure. Unfortunately also tracking it into SWLA vs it’s Houston resolution earlier.
