Seems like if Russia were serous about a full on invasion they would keep everyone in Ukraine up all night by peppering explosions all over the country all night. Start softening your opponent mentally and physically. It's almost daylight, so I guess we'll see soon.
Legitimately, the Russians likely don’t have amywhere near the logistical capability for that kind of action.
Remember, this is a Mexico-sized population with a Mexico-sized GDP with Mexico levels of incompetence and corruption trying to flex like it’s the 2007 American military.

That write up is leaving out a shite ton and isn’t accurate at all. There’s too much propaganda, duplicity, lies and hypocrisy coming from our psychopath leaders. There’s too many lies coming from Russia. We all end up victims in their global war games

Anonymous lost me when they threatened the cartels then backed down when the cartels told them, "frick around and find out.". Don't write checks you can't cover.
As someone who hopes like hell Ukraine gets the better end of all this, Anonymous is a bunch of slapdicks. Go away.
Let the real professionals handle this shite.

Your analogy is cute but can we stop pretending that USA and every country wasn't just another abusive a-hole trying to milk whatever money they could out of Ukraine?

All this seems so unnecessary. I understand these are parcels of land that have been disputed over. It just kills me to think biden spurred this on. I have right wing friends going all out for the Ukraine.
It’s really mind blowing considering they really don’t know what the frick is going on.
Like God says. “Thy will be done”
What do we have to say about it?

Excellent comparison to Mexico in terms of population and GDP per capita.
There were polls earlier in 2021 where people were asked how many people were shot by police in a given year, what percentage of people with COVID went to the hospital, etc and they were all way off.
I imagine people would whiff just as badly at getting Russian GDP and population.
I bet the average guess would be 400 million people and 40K GDP as opposed to 11K GDP per capita and 145 million.

Watching the kyiv livestream, you wouldn’t know a war is going on. Lot of cars out and just looks like business as usual

I don’t think your average American truly appreciates the power differential with the leverage at play.
Russia is a chihuahua with a huge and yappy bark but real little bite. The UK spends nearly as much as they do all on their own for defense (on about half the population). Never mind that France spends nearly as much as Russia does as well all on their own and likely has the best military bar none in Europe, including Russia. Shall we combine the total American, French, British, and other NATO capabilities against yappy chihuahua? It’d be like an NFL team taking on a Texas 5A high school team.
They're a chihuahua attacking a little rodent with several wolves and a dire wolf shaping the fight the in background. Let’s see them try us.

That doesn’t make us right.
There is a reason Russia has invaded Ukraine. If everyone would put down the Pom-Pom’s for a second, they would see this.
I recommend watching: UnCommon Core: The Causes and Consequences of the Ukraine Crisis
It is a lecture from 6(!) years ago that details the step by step(even day to day) series of events that surrounded the lead up the 2014 coup, and Russia’s response and Russia’s thought process moving forward.
Basically: after decades of Western NWO creep into former Eastern Bloc nations(joining NATO), Russia declared Ukraine as their line in the sand. And they are serious as a coronary, unlike Obama.
This is Russias Cuban Missle Crisis to them. After the recent talk of Ukraine joining NATO and questioning going nuclear again, Russia had enough and said frick it.
The lecture is awfully prescient and predictive for being six years old.

What was the damage like overnight? Doesn’t seem as bad as I thought?
Seeing mixed reports from the kremlin in regards to negotiations. Feel like there has to be some shake up going on in the Kremlin.

What happened to the Ukraine nuclear deterrence?

Anyone else find it interesting that Kiev is not blacked out?
I heard that Poland is tied to the Ukraine grid so Russia can’t really try to knock them offline as NATO might retaliate. Don’t know if there is any truth in that but yeah
