Why didn’t Russia use its hypersonic and high precision weapons at the onset of the war?

Cause the wily ole Putin is playing rope a dope with 7,000+ experienced troops, numerous generals, and billions of dollars advanced in equipment so that he can pull the West into an armed confrontation in Ukraine. Then, when NATO & company least expects it, he’s gonna pull the ultimate hat trick and skunk our asses with a previously unknown super weapon before we can even figure our pronouns out!

I read it on the PT so it must be true.

He has sold that Ukraine was going to invade or attack Russia just as the Nazis/Fascists did in WWII. He has sold that Ukraine is full of Nazis and its government is ran by Nazis and his special operation had to take place to eliminate the threat from Ukraine. The Russians believe that they are in Ukraine to fight Nazis.

He did none of this via homeland propaganda leading up to the invasion. He actually made very little of an eventual war to his people. He told them, and most of the troops on the border, that it was all a training mission. Putin did not even attempt to gain support from the Russian people for his war on Ukraine. That is clearly established fact at this point, and is one of the reasons there was such a backlash at home and Russia quickly clamped down on outside information, banning everything from tiktok to MySpace.

You can say whatever you want about Russia today and how the people may view the current war on this particular day, but you cannot say that Putin "sold" anything but a half-baked lie about a training mission to the Russian people. That's revisionist history that ignores what we know to be true. Putin failed miserably to garner support for this war, and it has cost him considerably.

Well, can you blame him? Would you want to go down in history as the poster who blew a 605 page lead in the Mountain Dew Shitposting Bowl?

Michael Kofman, a guy who I have come to trust in all of this, has a theory that Russia has a limited supply of guided munitions. Some people have questioned/doubted that Russia even has them, but Kofman, and others for that matter, seems convinced that they do and that we know that they do.

His theory is that they are being reserved in using those now due to the possibility of a future conflict with NATO. Russia believed in the beginning, and may still believe, that they can take Ukraine without dipping into that stockpile. It appears to be a strategic decision with an eye on what this conflict may lead to.

No way the OT can pull Pepsi/Mt. Dew as a sponsor. This shitshow is an RC Cola and Moonpie sponsored event no doubt.

Luckily, Timmy is more interested in blowing a 69 year old dictator.

Sounds like Putin is getting more desperate - Russia claims to have fired a hypersonic missile about an hour ago

This makes 7 NATO Member Countries that have directly stated that they would Support a NATO Peacekeeping Mission into Ukraine, these Countries are Slovenia, Czechia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and now Denmark, there are rumors that France and Slovakia would also Vote Yes.

If OPEC switches from dollars to rubles or yens to price oil, they are in direct “violation” of “the agreement” that we have been under for 50 years and we should damn near or actually take out a few them out. It would cost everyone in America tons of money and likely end up causing a long term world wide depression Correct. Someone intelligent posting at last! This is a much bigger deal than most people realize. In earlier societies, this would be an act of war from the dominant culture. And India should be on our side just naturally. The fact that we’ve largely ignored them for decades will come to bite us in the arse. India will be the most populated country very soon and they’re a nuclear power that openly hates China. We’ve fricked up in our relations with them.

I’m guessing due to Russia being banned from SWIFT that India cannot use USD to pay for it unless they have it in cash which they probably don’t. So they used their own currency

They thought they could easily defeat Ukraine with all of their old decaying Soviet shite that needs to be used anyways before it’s useless. Which makes some sense.

They have a limited budget so they didn’t want to use their high end stuff in the event the war escalates

Honest to God question, where is that stuff even sold? Saw it like 5 years ago at some rural Piggly Wiggly but never since.

But you’re right, it’d probably be sponsored by Abita Beer & Gordon McKernan

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III and Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov Hold Joint Press Conference
March 19, 2022

And my special thanks go to Lloyd Austin and the U.S. because they were the first to respond to our demand -- to our -- to what we asked NATO to reinforce and enhance the battle group that we are a framework nation for and with the multinational element.

So the U.S. have agreed to give us a striker company to contribute to our battle group and this is a strong sign and I hope that this sign is a sign to our -- a signal to our NATO allies to also contribute to our troops.

Are you trying to say white supremacy isn't a thing in this country? And you live in the South? Are you kidding me?

Having lived in both, I find the north to be much more racist. With that said white supremacy is not a major issue in this country today

That’s funny. Zero chance of happening but funny. You know we have spent about 50 trillion in black box advanced weapon systems over last decades or so right? None of it public
