Then stop complaining about people being mean to you.
Behave like a dickhead, get treated like a dickhead.

Oh I don’t mind people being a dick to me. But at least be accurate when you’re doing so. Calling me a Putin or Russia supporter just means you are incapable of understanding my posts and this conflict in general.

Political disinformation campaigns are a new thing brought about by social media. Didn’t you know prior to MySpace, disinformation and political subterfuge didn’t exist?

Ukraine's military is not aligned with NATO. In terms of doctrine, sophistication, equipment, logistics, and capacity to integrate into a multi national force. Part of the requirement of NATO membership is integrating or at least the capacity to quickly integrate into the NATO military command, logistics, and strategic structure. Ukraine is utterly unable to do this at the level NATO membership requires. From the lack of a professionalized strategic officership mismatched ammunition, fuel types, to a lack of translator infrastructure. The military would need years of rework and investment.
In terms of meeting the criteria, Finland and Sweden are much much closer to NATO membership than Ukraine.
Lastly of course is the political. NATO does not admit countries with on going territorial disputes. Russias security paranoia necessitates controlling the strategic access to the Russian heartland that lies between the Carpathian mountains and the black sea. Admitting Ukraine to NATO essentially , in their eyes, gives America control of this strategic vulnerability and guarantees a loss in any conflict.

Wouldnt be surprised if posters like Dr RC cried with Max from DWTS who was trapped inside a Ukrainian Church in Los Anegles
You're starting to seem a bit obsessed with me at this point. You need to step away from the internet for a while. The way you are acting is not healthy.

Yeah, Ukraine joining NATO was never even a remote possibility. Using that as a pretense was complete bullshite. Putin just wanted Ukraine. It’s really not anymore complicated than that.

I think the Russian military performance in this invasion has guaranteed a loss in any conflict with any western military (or western military alliance such as NATO). Unless they have an epiphany and get major upgrades in equipment and training along with moving away from their current doctrine. But I don't see how they could overhaul their military after this conflict with the state their economy will be in shortly.
I do agree with your assessment of Ukraine joining NATO.

Facebook and other free social media platforms are easily avoidable and I really don't think its a big deal for them to decide what they do and don't want on their platforms. That especially goes for hostile countries running disinfo. Boo hoo if they get the boot. I'm not going to get mad at a conservative social media platform banning liberal talking points or liberal social media platform banning conservative talking points. It's their shite they can allow what they want.
As for the other thread was the title a little click baity? Sure but not even being able to get away from digital ads at stores fricking sucks. At least when I'm online there are ways avoid them. Hell, Chicken gets none too pleased when they are mentioned here which is fair b/c it's his platform that he let's us use for free.

This is patently untrue. Russian GDP per capita has been as high as 5x that of Ukrainian GDP just in the last few years and the quality of life was much higher in Russian cities like Moscow and St. Petersburg than Kiev or Kharkov.
And although Russia is politically authoritarian, I would not call what Ukraine had as full-fledged democracy, but a dysfunctional partial democracy.
Why did this get 4 downvotes? The person he was responding to said this
“ [Ukrainian] families experience high functioning economic growth and full-fledged democratic freedom”
Which is completely wrong.
Ukraine had plenty of social, political, and economic issues prior to the invasion. Obviously doesn’t give Russia a reason to invade but that wasn’t the point of response

Great. You should head back to the Poliboard. You'll find less "morons" there.
