When you sell oil below market value just to keep it flowing to a new customer, that trade increase happens and should have been much higher, but Russia lost other business with India.
Some have speculated a new natural gas pipeline to India, the problem is the Himalayas and the only resemblance of a gap which to put a pipeline is through Kabul, Afghanistan, plus that is LOTS of miles someone has to pay to build.

Biden should have flooded Ukraine with tanks, F16s, artillery, HIMARS. Everything. Putin would have stayed home and 1 million men would still be alive.
I think everyone agrees on at least this
If Putin doesn't come to the table sans crazy demands, who knows it may happen. Not optimistic.

This is a tragedy for the Ukrainian people. They have been screwed by Lenin, Stalin and now this. They are cursed by geography like the Poles.
The irony is that all of the demands that the Russians are howling about regarding the rights of the ethnic Russians such as speaking the native language, having that language taught in schools, religion, etc. were all denied to the Ukrainian people by the Soviets/Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks/Soviets used the Checka/NKVD and the Russian Orthodox Church for implementing it.
It really is sad.
That's why the Baltic states are eagerly de-Russifying their countries. They love their own culture and their own countries.

Yep. It's telling that basically everyone under Soviet rule is doing everything they can to not fall back under Russia

Any Agreements on Ukraine Will Be on Moscow’s Terms
Vice-Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev dismissed the recent U.S.-Ukraine talks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, stating that any real agreements will be dictated by Russia on the battlefield—not by Washington.
“Ukraine bows and fawns, agreeing to whatever the U.S. tells them, but in the end, any agreements will be implemented on Russia’s terms,” Kosachev emphasized. He added that Moscow—not Washington—sets the conditions for peace, and the U.S. should come to terms with this reality."

for the Kims it is ALL about attention, of any kind...
They stay in power by keeping the North Korean population terrified of the outside world, who are amoral, savage rapists and murderers. That's why the military is the only priority! If not for the military, and Kim keeping the outside world terrorized by being like an unhinged lunatic threat, they all be killed and raped and made impure!
The worst thing for NK is to be ignored by the outside world... for there to be no footage to be edited or statements that sound threatening towards them... that's when missiles get launched into the Sea of Japan or something to get a reaction... then it's capitalized on internally. If people start to think the outside world is no threat, they could rebel.
NKs in the North do "escape" into China, out of desperation... where they are paid very little for work and usually eventually go back to North Korea because they are overwhelmed by and frightened of life even in remote Southern China.
NKs who live close to the border with South Korea kind of know a little more... they can't help but pick up TV or radio broadcasts (in secret)... some of them can even enter the enterprise zones and work and get a glimpse of life in SK... so they are told if they escape and defect, everyone related to them will be sent to a "farm" in remote North Korea... which are barren camps with no food where you are stuck until you starve to death.
Since the early days, the national purpose was the unification of the peninsula under Kim rule.
Now, Kim says that can't work because South Koreans are too impure and contaminated by Western thought and pop culture. So no reunification. This is bumming the hard left in SK out.

Inside NK, it was reported that President Trump rightly fears Dear Leader, and came to meet him (a first!) to make sure NK did not attack the US!

I think Ukraine indulged in a bit of physical intimidation in this meeting... ha!

And just after the proposed ceasefire is announced, Putin gives it the middle finger.
Although the US is fulfilling promises on intelligence sharing.
As is commercial satellite company Maxar.
Trump reports that the US delegation will be discussing the ceasefire with the Russians "today and tomorrow". Will Putin attack Ukraine with drones and missiles again tonight?

Russian attacks across Ukraine killed at least 14 civilians and injured at least 33 over the past day, regional authorities reported on March 12. The casualties included children and Syrian crew members of a merchant vessel in Odesa. Russia launched three Iskander-M ballistic missiles against Odesa and Kryvyi Rih, as well as 133 Shahed-type attack drones and decoy drones against Ukraine overnight, the Air Force reported.

Looks like Trump is going to have to decide on being a bitch or letting the gates open on military aid.
Watching the flip flopping from MAGA is going to be hilarious. No matter which route he chooses, they’re going to have to eat shite.

100%. Now they are panicking because they are scared to death that we are pulling out and their gravy train is going to end.
The EU is corrupt organization. Go look into the details of the "Rearm Europe" proposal by Von der leyen . It is a scam. Nothing but a slush fund. Of the 800 billion proposed only a portion is actually devoted to the military A large portion of it is earmarked for other projects. These are not serious people.
What these idiots did to themselves regarding climate change and renewable energy is maddening. And we were headed down that road until recently. This climate change/Green New Deal is nothing but another slush fund for corrupt politicians to move money into areas to push their agendas and pad their pockets.
What has happened in Germany, Germany did to themselves.

Finally it looks like the charade is over. Like I said and now Rubio is saying, the ball is in Russia’s court. Zekensky is an easy target and he is out of his league now, but even JB admits Russia is the nation in control.
