During a diplomatic meeting at the White House on February 24, 2025, French President Emmanuel Macron corrected former President Donald Trump's claim about European financial aid to Ukraine. Trump had stated that Europe loans money to Ukraine, implying it gets reimbursed, while Macron clarified that France has directly paid 60% of the aid, emphasizing the actual cost to Europe. The interaction was marked by Macron's direct challenge to Trump's statements in a public setting.

Putin also declared his readiness to invite foreign partners to the territories occupied by Russia, where he said "there are also certain reserves".
Is anybody going to fall for that, again?

Putin helping solve our Inflation problem created by Biden and the Deepstate. War is a huge cause of Inflation. It's what brought us out of the Great Depression

Specifically, Russia is supposedly willing to supply 2 million tonnes of aluminium to the US market, which could "stabilise prices".
If this deal were to occur, it would signal that Trump is easing sanctions.
In April 2024, the United States and the United Kingdom banned the import of Russian aluminum, copper, and nickel. The ban was implemented to reduce Russia's revenue from these metals, which are used to make many products, including electric vehicles, beverage cans, and semiconductors.
Related to aluminum prices in US::
President Donald Trump reinstated 25% tariffs on global steel imports in a Feb. 10, 2025, proclamation, “Adjusting Imports of Steel Into the United States.” In a second proclamation, Trump raised tariffs on global aluminum imports from 10% to 25%

Good. That's part of the reason we have high inflation. Wars cause inflation. The Great Depression was solved by WW2

Find me a single publicly traded commodity that wasn't going up in price last 8 months before brandon. Being that inflation is a lagging indicator, all that damage came from reckless fiscal policy before him. Sure, he dumped a bunch of gas on the fire early, like fricking moron, but that fire was already burning when he took office.

BS. Bidenomics consisted of...
1. Letting 15 million illegals and giving them ebt cards and free housing which drastically increased the Demand side causing inflation
2. Starting a Proxy War with Russia through Ukraine and putting Sanctions on Russia which is also very inflationary
3. Doing another Covid Stimulus package when we didn't need another one and Larry Summers warned the Biden Administration it would cause massive inflation
You might of well called Bidenomics....Inflationomics

Ryazan refinery stopped after Ukrainian drone strike
February 24, 2025, 03:38 PM
The Ryazan oil refinery, operated by Rosneft and among the top five largest refineries in Russia, has halted oil processing after a recent attack by Ukrainian drones, independent Russian newspaper The Moscow Times reported on Feb. 24.
A fire broke out at the refinery's primary oil processing unit, AVT-6, which accounts for nearly half of the facility's capacity. Damage assessments are currently ongoing, and partial operations may resume in a few days.
The Ryazan refinery, with an annual capacity of 13.7 million tons of oil, is Rosneft's largest facility and was hit by a drone for the second time in a month, the publication noted. The previous attack on Jan. 24 disabled a railway fuel loading dock, causing an 18-day suspension for repairs.
Ukrainian defense forces launched the latest attack overnight on Monday, Feb. 24. Social media reports confirmed at least five explosions near the refinery.
The Feb. 24 attack marks the third on the Ryazan refinery since the beginning of 2025. Previous strikes occurred on Jan. 24 and Jan. 26.

Putin also stated that Russia is not concerned with an agreement between Ukraine and the US regarding natural resources. However, he suggested that Russia would be ready to offer the US an opportunity for joint work in the rare earth metals sector. Specifically, Russia is supposedly willing to supply 2 million tonnes of aluminium to the US market, which could "stabilise prices".
Additionally, Russia and the US could launch joint aluminium mining projects, for example, in the Krasnoyarsk Krai. Putin also declared his readiness to invite foreign partners to the territories occupied by Russia, where he said "there are also certain reserves".
Alcoa sold its bauxite mines to Rusal years ago. Hydroelectric power is what is cost effective for reduction of alumina (extracted from bauxite) to aluminum metal, Russia, Canada, Iceland and Norway all have lots of almost free hydroelectric power. It once was economic to reduce alumina to aluminum in TX and LA because of all the almost free natural gas until the early 1980s when pipeline expansion allowed natural gas to sold further inland in the US. There was a glut of it coming from offshore, especially, Louisiana. Also, a very short cheap voyage from bauxite mines in Jamaicam Guyana and Suriname.

The great thing about this is nobody cares what your personal litmus test is. America just overwhelmingly rejected your views in a landslide Trump victory
