Zelensky: Any bilateral talks on Ukraine without us are unacceptable
Ukraine will not accept any bilateral peace talks without Ukraine's participation. In addition, it is important for Ukraine to have European partners at the negotiating table.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a working visit to the Khmelnytsky Nuclear Power Plant, commenting on his conversation with US President Donald Trump, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I articulate this very clearly to our partners. Any bilateral talks about Ukraine, I'm not talking about other topics, they are free to do so, we will not accept any bilateral talks about Ukraine without us,” Zelensky said.
He emphasized that meetings in the Ukraine-U.S. format should take place first, and only after that, after a plan to stop Putin has been developed, will it be fair to talk to the Russians.
Speaking about his conversation with Trump, Zelensky said it was “a really good almost hour-long conversation,” during which Trump told the Ukrainian president that he believed that “Putin wants peace and wants the war to end.” According to Zelensky, he told Trump that everyone wants to get Putin to end the war fairly for Ukraine, but he doesn't really believe that it is easy to do.
The president also emphasized the importance of European participation in the negotiation process. I believe that there should be Europeans at the negotiating table, because we are part of Europe and will definitely be members of the European Union,” the President noted.
He recalled the substantial support of Ukraine during the war from the European partners. According to him, “today, 80% of the price of war is paid by Ukraine and Europe and 20% is the contribution of the United States of America.”

All of that is true and it is why the Dems are killing the US on the world stage.
You help Ukraine and we can help ourselves and look good all at the same time.

When I was a kid we just had a biased mainstream media. It was easy to see the politics and spin of some of the news.
Now my kid gets to sift through turbo-charged propaganda. Everywhere is lies spin exaggeration and half truths.
I feel bad for people that just believe things now. They base their beliefs and opinions off of ridiculous bullshite. Manipulated to the maximum. It's a shame and a sad future.

Putin didn't travel to South Africa because as a signatory party to the International Court he would have been arrested.

That isn't the argument you made. You said he would be arrested if he left the "Axis of Evil".
He hasn't since the International Court called for his arrest.

It's already there. The Ukrainians have the most experienced and motivated fighting troops in the world right now. All they need are the weapons they are asking for. At no cost to the US investors as they will get Congress to supply everything.
The minerals Trump wants are under dirt controlled by Russia. How is he planning on getting the Russians off of that land?
Clearly a win for everyone but Putin.

And that isn't the point. If you're going to predict he will be arrested, then immediately change your opinion or back down from it when challenged, why even say it to begin with?
He is throwing shite at the wall, as usual.

quote:Being forced to back down on that invitation drove the ANC batshit crazy, especially the left wing. But someone reminded them that the US - African Growth and Opportunity Act was on life support with Pretoria already and was due to expire in 2025, with extension 'possible' for another 15 year term.
Putin didn't travel to South Africa because as a signatory party to the International Court he would have been arrested.
Ramaphosa tried to hide but had to make a decision: A.) Putin flying down with bales of cash for the ANC comrades, or B.) lose the entire SA auto manufacturing business with 8,000 well-paying jobs plus half the agricultural export business. Not even the ANC could ignore the ramifications of that.
Well, some of them couldn't. Don't get me started.

The lapel pin that DJT is wearing has gone viral and the MSM is melting as predicted

President Donald Trump wearing a miniature cartoon version of himself as a lapel pin has caused a stir online.
Trump has frequently used his name and image as a fundraising tool throughout his political career. The pin could be another example of Trump-branded merchandise available for supporters to purchase.

Good analogy. Trump wants to build the Ben-Gurion canal to compete with the Suez canal.
