Maybe Trump/Rubio and Russia are making progress with peace talks. Maybe if peace talks fall apart Trump and Rubio approve a waiver for Ukraine. Maybe it’s fake news. Maybe it’s the end of Ukraine? Nobody knows anything yet. Maybe Putin is scared of going bankrupt and will flee the country? Maybe yall could wait to insult each other for like 12 hours or so to see what is actually going on?

Trump is a “carrot and stick” guy
He will offer both sides the carrot first to end this the easy way. If they don’t like the carrot, he will employ the stick to the side not willing to concede.

I believe you will see more talk of giving Ukraine Russian seized assets and "loans" going forward.
It is a signal that the US wants this to end relatively soon though.
