Posting News about the Russia/Ukraine War that you don't like is not spamming. What is your NAFO Fella handle on Twitter? You sound just like them

But we are the biggest oils producers in the world. You are talking about rending 10% of gdp largely unprofitable and blowing holes in several state budgets. $45 oil would be no bueno for our economy.

Understood, I just reported what I heard.
The point is dropping oil prices will hurt Russia and help the US. What’s the magic number? I don’t know.

92,000 tweets specifically about the Ukraine conflict.

That's about 92 per day, rookie numbers compared to JB spam. Actually in the same ballpark.

$34 is breakeven for tight shale.

$45 means there is more oil coming online than just the US and there is.

$50 is breakeven for Russia.

$5.90 is breakeven for Saudi's production on shore. $80 for offshore

$84 is breakeven for kerogen, actual shale crude, rock mined from Colorado. The only refinery built for it was dismantled in 2011, transported to Houston for refurbishment and sold overseas. It was around 30,000 BPD. We have a few trillion barrels of it.

update on Johm Barron spreading russian propaganda...

A few pages back he posted an embed with this text to discredit Zelenskyy.

quote:

“Ukrainian MP Calls for Zelensky’s Removal, Citing Mental Health Concerns” Ukrainian lawmaker Oleksandr Dubinsky has sparked controversy by calling for President Volodymyr Zelensky to be removed from office, claiming the leader’s mental health is in decline. Dubinsky, a member of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada, pointed to Zelensky’s recent remarks at the World Economic Forum in Davos as evidence of erratic behavior. “He is insane. Crazy. He lives in a fictitious reality that constantly shifts to absolve him of any responsibility,” Dubinsky stated, calling for a medical evaluation and immediate action. The MP suggested Zelensky is experiencing a “nervous breakdown,” alleging that the president’s mental state poses risks to Ukraine’s stability during this critical time.

It is a good example of intentionally spreading russian propaganda. Oleksandr Dubinsky is an MP , but he has also been charged with treason. He is currently under house arrest.

The DBR, in cooperation with Ukraine’s SBU Security Service, uncovered a criminal organization in Nov. 2023. Following the instructions of Russian intelligence services, the individuals organized activities aimed at discrediting Ukraine’s image on the international stage, worsening its relations with the United States, and complicating its integration into the EU and NATO.

Dubinsky was charged with state treason and participation in a criminal organization. He is currently in custody. The suspects also organized media events spreading false information about the Ukrainian government and its Western partners.

According to the investigation, the criminal organization was established by Vladimir Alekseev, the first deputy chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Russian General Staff, and his assistant Alexey Savin. Preliminary reports indicate that Russian intelligence services spent at least $10 million on this organization.

It takes 5-7 days to drill a well in the Permian or other tight shale formation before completion crew comes in. That is way down from a decade ago. It takes a week for a Russian crew just to trip pipe to change the bit. The wells are shallower in Russia and straight down conventional

If this is true (Waiting on confirmation from US media sources) then I would assume it is due to the rapidly evolving negotiation with Russia.

I don't have an issue with it at this point. Trump needed to give Putin a token of good faith to bring him to the negotiating table.

So satisfying, especially towards the Never Trumpers who said it would be chaotic like first term was.

Its intention is to mislead, it lacks important context...

It’s for all countries excluding Israel and Egypt.

And it is for USAID, not the arms and munitions. The $50 billion from interest of seized Russian funds has flowed to more than make up that freeze.

Go do a booty bump with your methhead boyfriend.
