Well. You keep using the term, but you can't explain how it's relevant to the discussion.
I understand money laundering. I have an MBA with an emphasis in international finance. But I can't figure out why money laundering would be part of any kind of corruption scheme involving US aid to Ukraine.
But since you know.... explain it to me....like I'm an imbecile.

Yet only some charges were dropped, but none of them exonerated. Initial shots came from the Berkat.
Then again, I don't mistake Brent crude as coming from Iran.
FTR, the reason that the US exports "crude oil" is because it is technically condensate and only called crude oil due US legislation in the 1970's to ban exports of it. Any refinery using it as it's main source goes bankrupt due to loss of nameplate capacity. In fact, several refineries have closed with most being already torn down due access was to tight shale crude only. Two of them I tried to sell back in 2011 for relocation overseas

We are already openly funding and arming Ukraine. So I’m trying to figure out where the need to launder money fits in. What exactly we are spending this laundered money on. Biolabs?

Sometimes, it's useless to keep arguing with fundamentally dishonest people.

You’re as dishonest as they come. Saying anyone that questions the war or your viewpoint loves Putin.
I still don’t understand why some of yall won’t go over there. There’s a spot open with the guy hiding in Trumps bushes gone. Don’t tell me you’re scared of a Russian.

ISW Update Sept 22nd
quote:
Key Takeaways:
Ukraine's September 18 strike against a Russian missile and ammunition storage facility near Toropets, Tver Oblast reportedly destroyed enough Russian munitions to affect Russian operations in the coming months.
The Kremlin is reportedly reconsidering the effectiveness of nuclear saber-rattling as part of its efforts to influence the ongoing Western policy debate about supporting Ukraine and specifically permitting Ukraine to use Western-provided weapons against military objects in Russia.
Satellite imagery of damage at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Arkhangelsk Oblast captured on September 21 suggests that the Russian military recently conducted an unsuccessful RS-28 "Sarmat" nuclear-capable intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) test.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated on September 21 that Ukraine will increase its production of drones by "several times" in 2025 in order to maintain Ukraine's quantitative superiority over Russian drone production.
Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced on September 22 that Russia will not participate in Ukraine's second peace summit later in 2024 or in any "such summits."
Russia is reportedly expanding intelligence operations in Mexico to undermine the United States and support for Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces recently advanced near Svatove.
Russian forces recently marginally advanced near Toretsk and Pokrovsk, southwest of Donetsk City, and in the Donetsk-Zaporizhia Oblast border area.
A Ukrainian officer in a drone crew stated on September 22 that the Russian military command is forcing soldiers to dig trenches at Russian positions in unspecified areas of Ukraine without weapons and sometimes without armor, helmets, or military uniforms.

Maybe he is suggesting that we give weapons to Ukraine, some of which they sell on the international market, then they kickback some of that revenue to our politicians. It’s not money laundering, but it would be an illegal scam.

A destruction or isolation of the forces in Vuhledar would probably lead to a collapse of the entire SE front. This would lead to easy going for the RuAF to advance to Novoukrainka (NU), Bohoyavlenka (B) and onwards to the NW.
Per TASS, the Ukrainians are trying to withdraw.

British Defence Intelligence
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 23 September 2024
In the Ukrainian north-eastern region of Kharkiv, Russian forces have advanced westwards from Pishchane village. They now occupy a small salient 3.5km from the Oskil river. It is likely that Russian forces aim to reach the eastern bank of the Oskil river to use as a natural defensive barrier and set conditions for future operations.
Russian forces primary effort remains Pokrovsk in eastern Ukraine. Russia has highly likely taken the towns of Hrodivka, east of Pokrvosk, and Ukrainsk, south of the city. Russian forces remain approximately 8km from Pokrovsk. Ukrainian reinforcements, urban areas, and Ukrainian defences have likely contributed to slowing Russia's advance on the axis in the past week.

But can we keep this crap off the thread.
