Tim Pool to donate $1 million to Ukrainian charity

quote:

"I'm horrified to learn that I received almost $5 million in the last year directly from a man perpetuating war crimes every day. I can't undo all the damage I've done, but I can give a portion of it back to help the victims, such as the family of the little girl in the video below killed yesterday by Putin's bombs. It's terrible to learn that 3 out of 4 of Putin's missile strikes in Ukraine have targeted civilian, rather than military, targets. Helping the victims is the least I can do."

Of course, all that above is satire. It's the kind of thing you'd see, though, if there was any real remorse.

I could use some extra money. I wonder how much the Kremlin would pay me to repeatedly post their propaganda and talking points on football message boards.

There was an outdoor Green Day concert somewhere tonight, and about 20 minutes in the band was yanked offstage abruptly by security and their crew. about 10 minutes later they came back out and finished the show.

So they just left the crowd exposed the threats, without telling them? That's a terrible look, especially post aldean in Vegas.

British Defence Intelligence
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE
05 September 2024

The average daily Russian casualties (killed and wounded) in Ukraine has increased in August 2024 to 1,187 per day, according to Ukrainian General Staff reporting. Since the start of the conflict Russia has likely suffered over 610,000 casualties.

The August 2024 increase in casualty rate is almost certainly due to Ukraine's Kursk operation and continued pressure on the Pokrovsk axis. Russia continues to rely on mass to mitigate their lack of personnel and equipment capability.

Although Russian pressure on the whole frontline will continue over the next month, their capability constraints will likely continue to reduce their ability to exploit any tactical successes into wider operational gains. Russia's casualty rate will likely continue to average above 1,000 a day throughout September 2024 as Russia continues operations on a wide front from Kursk in the north to Robotyne in the south.

Without an average Ukrainian casualty rate to compare it to what's it mean?

Ryan McBeth has a video on the Tenet Media issues. Haven't had time to watch it yet so no comment.

I watched it this morning. Pool is a true believer that America is everything evil from his leftist days, so pieces of silver are very appealing to his existing world view.

FTR, Russia has for decades had the single goal of destablizing the West by attempting to cause distrust in government of Western nations. That being said, governments give plenty of reason on their own and just little pushes from "influencers" (I hate that term because it shows that the public is more stupid than I thought)

We've seen plenty of confirmed ratios of equipment losses from both sides.

Casualty rates for offenses tend to be a lot higher than for defenses.

It's difficult to know anything for sure given the fog of war and propaganda, but we get glimmers of facts here some of the time. PT not so much so.
