And that "real journalism"? The Grayzone editor got money directly from Iranian state TV.

Anything associated with Gray zone is about as hard left lunatic as it gets. Radical DU types. I am sure there are probably 2-3 hard leftists in this thread that tune in on a regular basis. Lima is not left or leftist.

Mate is literally a shill, though.

Like, this isn’t even us calling him that. He has been labeled a foreign propagandist.

My gut is that it makes sense for the US Army to invest in Hawkeye production

It's a little bit of the tail wagging the dog. We have millions of 105mm shells in storage. It's easier to build a system to fit the shells than it is to build shells to fit the system. That sounds convoluted, but it's the current reality on the ground.

And, you need 155mm to destroy hardened bunkers and deep trenches. But for infantry assaults in the open (famous Russian meat waves) smaller lighter mobile systems that can be brought up quickly to fire air burst and cluster munitions against infantry, 105mm is perfectly adequate

It’s the closest thing to actual on the move artillery for troops attacking and moving forward. It would be their ability to hide more than anything that would make their value. A 105 mm definitely doesn’t pack the punch that a 155 mm does, there’s no debate about that. However, I haven’t seen much that a 105 can’t destroy in this war. Trench dugouts would be wasted just like they would if they got hit by a 155. Most are nothing more than logs and dirt on top to protect them. Others use things like the empty wooden artillery and mortar shell case filled with dirt. The accuracy though would be an asset in an offensive. I’d produce them with each one coming with it’s own small EW jammer as well as an extra line of defense since these systems would be closer to the front than larger 155 mm guns.

Ukraine just hit the Russian NIP-16 space tracking and communication center in Vitino, Crimea with multiple ATACMS.

During the Cold War, this was the primary Soviet deep space communication facility. I don't know exactly what the Russians were doing with the facility right now, but it's a safe bet that it still involved radar and comms.

EDIT: Eight ATACMS were used

Ukraine kills 5, 3 of them children, and injures over 100 with US-made ATACMS in Sevastopol.

Those who deny the escalation risk of such occurrences at this point are beyond saving, or propagandists.
