In my 20 plus years on Abrams, our biggest concern was always the air. The only difference was then it was a Hind-D chopper and now it's drones.
I'm still amazed at the survivability of the Abrams. Those blowout panels saved lives again.

Nah I don't think that qualifies. He might actually be the cuck in that he's trying to woo her and she is sleeping around on him and being a total Instagram whore.
I think you have to be like in love and / or a committed relationship to be actually cucked sexually.

Ukraine is hitting Russian tanks from the back where the turret meets the body with an RPG7 head attached to a drone.
Could that be a similar weak spot for a drone attack?

Macron says sending troops to Ukraine not 'ruled out'. He spoke after a meeting in Paris brought together over 20 European heads of state and other officials

The French leader said that “we will do everything needed so Russia cannot win the war”
quote:
“There’s no consensus today to send in an official, endorsed manner troops on the ground. But in terms of dynamics, nothing can be ruled out”
quote:
Macron declined to provide details about which nations were considering sending troops, saying he prefers to maintain some “strategic ambiguity.”

European nations are worried that the U.S. will dial back support as aid for Kyiv is teetering in Congress. They also have concerns that former U.S. President Donald Trump might return to the White House and change the course of U.S. policy on the continent.

Calling me a cuck for shagging a tasty young bird barely half my age is an odd line of attack. I'm proud to be worthy of such a dialogue.

ISW Update
quote:
Key Takeaways:
Sweden will join NATO following Hungary’s formal approval of Sweden’s accession bid on February 26.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed two decrees on February 26 that officially re-establish the Moscow and Leningrad Military Districts, codifying major Russian military restructuring and reform efforts.
The formal transfer of regions previously under the responsibility of the Northern Fleet is likely part of a wider Russian effort to re-establish military district commands as the primary headquarters for the Russian ground forces while reassigning naval assets to the Russian Navy, as ISW previously reported.
The re-creation of the MMD and LMD supports the parallel objectives of consolidating control over Russian operations in Ukraine in the short-to-medium term and preparing for a potential future large-scale conventional war against NATO in the long term.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on February 25 that Russia is preparing a new offensive that will start in late May or summer 2024, consistent with ISW’s assessment that Russian forces have regained the theater-wide initiative and will be able to pursue offensive operations when and where they choose as long as they hold the initiative.
Chief of the Russian General Staff Army General Valery Gerasimov is continuing a recent campaign to engage with Russian military personnel following the Russian capture of Avdiivka, Donetsk Oblast and reportedly visited a command post of the 58th Combined Arms Army (CAA) in Ukraine.
Over 20 heads of state, including 15 European Union (EU) leaders met in Paris on February 26 to discuss ramping up ammunition supplies to Ukraine.
Germany announced a new military aid package to Ukraine on February 26.
Transnistrian sources reportedly told Russian independent outlet Verstka that Transnistria, a pro-Russian breakaway region of Moldova, is not planning to ask to join Russia during the Congress of Deputies in Tiraspol on February 28.
Russian forces recently made confirmed gains near Kreminna, Bakhmut, and Avdiivka amid continued positional engagements along the entire frontline.
Russia reportedly imported almost 450 million euros (about $488 million) worth of sanctioned “sensitive” European goods, including weapons technology, between January and September 2023.

Macron's speech yesterday was really a big deal: LINK
For the leader of France to say that the sending of troops into Ukraine cannot be ruled out represents a significant escalation of rhetoric on his part. Macron has certainly come a long way from the beginning of the war, back when he was calling Putin every week.
And it shows the utter ignorance of those posters here who have said "Stop sending weapons to Ukraine, and end the war." Because it won't work like that, because nations such as Poland know that they cannot allow Russia to win, because they know that they would be next.
We've had so many dumb posts in here about WWIII, but what makes WWIII more likely is American inaction. If the US doesn't help Ukraine win, a broader war becomes much more likely.

INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 27 February 2024
On 23 February 2024, a Russian A-50U MAINSTAY D was destroyed, almost certainly by a surface to air missile, while operating South of the Sea of Azov, over the Russian territory of Krasnodar. There is a remote chance that the Russians inadvertently shot down their own aircraft while attempting to protect it.
This is the second A-50 destroyed in as many months. Russia only began operating A-50 aircraft over the Sea of Azov in November 2023. On 14 January 2024, Ukraine successfully targeted an A-50 in that area. This forced Russian decision makers to consider safer operating areas for the aircraft. This latest Ukrainian success has demonstrated a continued Russian inability to protect high value air assets. It brings into question the efficacy of Russian air planners.
The Russian air force will be able to cover the immediate loss of the A-50 because they have seven operational airframes remaining. Yet the loss of two experienced specialist mission crews in as many months is highly likely to induce further strain and combat fatigue on the
remaining force if they are to sustain constant operations. It is likely that the Russian air force will again consider different operating locations, but Ukraine is demonstrating an ability to adapt quickly and continues to pose a threat.
