Man the vast majority of the American public dont even know about this or realize it's still ongoing. If you don't seek out news about it, it's pretty non existent. The current shenanigans with Congress has shined a little light on it for now

Of that total amount is old retired weapons and expired or set to be destroyed at a greater cost, ammo.

That's not why I removed it, and that figure was from 3 months ago. We are about to send them a ton more.

Again how much cash? You're the one claiming over $100B hard cash was sent not me.

Like I said, we haven’t sent Ukraine hundreds of billions in cash. You and others have been posting BS.

Serve just one day for your country and then come talk to me. I served years so don’t fricking talk to me about saving this country. You wouldn’t have made it one day before you got offended, started to cry and ran to mommy you stupid cuck. Seriously it’s so obvious you get pleasure just being a troll that i feel sorry for you. You obviously have no career, prospects or a good woman in your life so instead you are a keyboard warrior. I’ll be voting for Trump by the way so you can’t call me a lefty or libtard and I still want us to help Ukraine because evil is Vladimir Putin but you’d gladly suck him off at the snap of his fingers.

Our honor is at stake. We promised to defend Ukraine’s sovereignty, if we break our word why would anyone trust us?
In the 19th century we imprisoned the Indian scouts who had helped us track down Geronimo. We even put them in the same prison. The problem is that this behavior is common for us, look at what we did with so many of our auxiliaries in Iraq and Afghanistan. Abandoning people is unfortunately something we do.
The people who made this commitment to Ukraine are unfortunately, not honorable people. But they also made a promise we can’t keep. We don’t have the ability to win the war for Ukraine, short of deploying our own forces, but we can’t do that, because it risks nuclear war.
If we care about Ukraine our best option is to help them seek peace as soon as possible, and limit any further territorial losses.

As previously mentioned.. we have obligated ourselves to provide assistance.. so there is that..
but also..
When do you think it is better to deal with a cancer, when it is small and/or not spreading.. or after it has metastasized ..
IMO we should have jumped into earlier and more decisively with aid and support.. but that ship has sailed.
If you sit back and do nothing and Russia takes Ukraine, that puts Poland right on the boarder with Russia.. that is a bit like storing your gasoline next to your furnace...
Doing nothing now is kinda like how our politicians deal with our national debt... kicking the problem down the road while it get worse...
You still haven't said why it's important.
Russia is a dying country that will barely exist in 50 years. Winning or losing in Ukraine won't change that.
The outcome in Ukraine doesn't impact any vital American interest unless you consider corrupt politicians vital.
If Putin is using Zelensky's toilet in 12 months or ends his days swinging from a rope it won't mean a damn thing to anyone here.
Stop pretending it's 1939.

Pilot it’s SW. just be mindful of that. Not that anything you’ve said is wrong just need you to remember who you’re replying to.

We cannot unilaterally do this. Russia has to agree. Russia does not agree. This will not happen. You are promoting a fantasy.

My kids do what I do, work. My grandkids go to school. They don’t have to worry about their grandpa. Fortunately I don’t depend on the government because locally they are failing to provide for public safety, and nationally they are spending too much on superfluous things and not securing the border.
I’m worried about those two things plus the way the administration is going after their political enemies with public institutions.

Putin openly asked for a peace deal in his Tucker interview.

You are right about the Russians.
We could intervene militarily, but that would be stupid. But we do have the ability along with others to bleed Russia and make them think twice about doing this again and perhaps too it may make them more amenable to a reasonable peace.

The best deal for Ukraine will come from negotiating from strength. It won’t come if Russia believes they can pull a deal like the deal that settled the Vietnam War.

glad I caught the quote before you removed that dumb arse statement you can't prove
ETA I mean I asked you for a link to prove over $100B cash and you post a picture of stating $75B of total aid
The World Bank has also "loaned" them 41 billion, of which the US is a major contributor, major contributor.
The UN has given 4.2 billion of which the US is a player, a big player.
USAID has given, as well as 100s of NGOs funded by the US govt.
So yes I would say the tab is 100 billion or more at this point.
Once again Sir Winston is correct, and probably drunk, but tomorrow he will be sober, and you will still be ugly.

Oh sweet child not this one again. Simple question, if they are old and retired weapons why did congress approve the 75 billion?
Well to replace the retired weapons right. Okay Ill play if its to replace the retired weapons.......wouldnt that be in the existing 784 billion dollar military budget.
In summary, the money is real or congress would not have to approve ADDITIONAL funding. And yes a lot of it is cash for civilians and retirees.....and penthouses in Miami, and shopping sprees in Paris....

And most Americans are not "for" this nonsense.
Do the Reagan test, give them a 100 dollar bill and ask them, you can keep it or give it to me to send to Ukraine

CitizenKuck is a lost cause. I have 3 fraternity brothers like this who I haven't spoken to since 2017. Hell, for all I know he is one of them.
They seem happy to coexist with liberals and Democrats and to be harder on America First types than leftists.
