Since you care about freedom, what about all of the conflicts ongoing in Africa?
Want to financially support them also?

Scott Adams has spoken the actual truth.

Ah man... you got me. Saint Hillary is just misunderstood. Someone has to battle that vast Right Wing conspiracy.
For over four centuries, the Jesuit order has been
systematically deployed by an international political
faction whose memories and interests go way beyond
the day on which Ignatius Loyola, a Spanish military
adventurer in the pay of the Hapsburg family, founded
the order.
That political faction is the ancient core of the
European nobility, the Pallavicinis, the Sursoks, the
Colonnas, the Hapsburgs, the Cecils, and others-who
trace their family lineage to the gens Julia of Julius
Caesar, to Aeneas of defeated Troy, or to the archpriests
of the Isis cult in ancient Egypt. That political faction
maintains power over a major part of the world's
international financial institutions, a powerful grip over
key raw materials holdings, and strategic control over
numerous governments, such as the Belgian and Dutch
thrones, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, key institutions of the Swiss government, most institutions of
the British government, and international institutions.

Pure sedition. Putin would, literally, incinerate you and your family with the heat of the sun.
Russia is not a friend to the United States, and if you’re a friend of Putin, you are an enemy of the Republic.

Interesting info on Navalny.
LINK

quote:
Navalny, who died on Friday after falling unconscious in an Arctic penal colony, was hailed as one of the Russian president’s most formidable foes – a thorn in Putin's side who refused to cower to him. However, as Western politicians pay their respects, some more uncomfortable aspects of Navalny's career have been brought back to the surface.
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer was criticised for praising the 'courage' of Navalny by Mish Rahman, who sits on the party's NEC ruling body, referring to the opposition leader's "far-right" past.
"Navalny took part in the Russian March, an annual demonstration that draws ultranationalists, including some who adopt swastika-like symbols," Rahman tweeted. "He has never apologised for his earliest xenophobic videos or his decision to attend the Russian March.
"Putin is an evil tyrant and nobody should be imprisoned for political opposition, let alone die this way. But that doesn’t mean that the leader of the Labour Party should be lauding a man with links to the far-right who refers to Muslims as 'cockroaches'."

I don't care how Ukraine ended up in the USSR; the fact was, they did. And it didn't affect the USA one iota - which is the point another poster tried to make. Rather snarkily, I might add. And then completely failed to explain exactly why a broke down and crumbling Russia absorbing Ukraine once again posed an existential threat to the United States.

What do you expect from a Russian? This is why you don’t just let them take over a country because they want to. It’s like giving a bully an award at school for beating up a smaller kid instead of the beating that he really needs. Ukraine is about to
have to withstand many massive frontal attacks at several points if the line over the next 6-7 months and their ability to withstand those attacks is going to be paramount to their ability to stay in this war or be forced to the negotiating table at a disadvantage. I guess we will see what the rest of the western world is really about over that time. They will need some serious assistance to help them get through this summer.

The idea that unless you enlist and go fight for Ukrsine you can’t have an opinion on which side should win is ridiculous.

Russia can hurt us no more than a few thousand Mexicans and other illegals coming across the border so why should we try and stop them? Why waste our tax dollars? We have other issues to solve, right?

Which country is trying to take over another country in Africa? Tons of civil conflicts to be sure. And the US does provide a ton of humanitarian aid in those regions (I posted a couple of pages back, but in Sudan, for example, the US is the largest donor of humanitarian aid).
ETA
From 2020 3 of the top 10 recipients of military aid were African nations (Egypt, Tunisia and Somalia)
