Key Takeaways:
Ukraine and the United Kingdom (UK) signed an agreement on bilateral security guarantees pursuant to the G7’s July 2023 joint declaration of support for Ukraine.
US National Security Council Spokesperson John Kirby stated on January 11 that the US has suspended security assistance to Ukraine and will not resume sending aid to Ukraine until the US Congress approves funding.
Ukrainian Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov expressed confidence in Ukraine’s ability to produce one million first-person view (FPV) drones in 2024.
Pentagon Spokesperson Brigadier General Patrick Ryder stated on January 11 that there is no credible evidence of the illegal diversion of US-provided advanced conventional weapons to Ukraine.
The US Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) announced on January 11 sanctions against several Russian entities reportedly involved in the transfer of North Korean ballistic missiles to Russia.
Actors in the Russia-backed breakaway republic of Transnistria may be setting information conditions for a possible false-flag operation in Transnistria as part of wider Kremlin efforts to destabilize Moldova.
Russian occupation officials appear to be deliberately censoring information about Ukrainian children whom Russian authorities have illegally removed to occupied Crimea.
Imprisoned Russian ultranationalist and former Russian officer Igor Girkin accused the Kremlin of hesitating to conduct operationally significant offensive operations in Ukraine or a new wave of mobilization in Russia as Ukraine “build[s] up [its] strength” for a future counteroffensive effort.
Russian forces made confirmed marginal advances northeast of Bakhmut, northwest of Avdiivka, southwest of Donetsk City, west of Verbove, and in (east) left bank Kherson Oblast amid continued positional fighting along the entire front.
The Russian State Duma will consider a draft law allowing foreigners with a criminal record to serve in the Russian Armed Forces.
Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko confirmed that Russian authorities have deported over 2,100 Ukrainians, including 500 children, to Russia for medical reasons in 2023.

(3) transferring frozen Russian sovereign assets to Ukraine.
You want to know why we havent seized the assets of a sovereign country you bunch of dipshats?
Because the US has nearly 6 trillion of foreign investment in the US and has invested nearly 7 trillion abroad. You want to risk that by telling the world we will seize assets anytime we dont like your policies?
While iran, who is literally killing us, we gave them back "frozen" assets with interest.
How about when the govt decides to seize your assets because they dont like what you post on the net, would that be okay as well?

Russia's economy is doing quite well despite the apocalyptic screams on this board.
Ukraine, now Ukraine on the other hand, when you remove them from the donor teat has seen their economy implode.
Not to worry, since the US has held off on funding ole cargo pants has vowed more cutbacks on what little govt services remain, and more taxes.....though I doubt he has cut his thiefing at all.
I cant believe, given the state of our financial affairs, that any American (I can still capitalize that cant I?) would invest another dollar in that corrupt place.

Not according to a Russian CEO biz friend. Totally screwed for at least a decade. Money has been steadily leaving Russia for other nations since the spring of 2022. Last summer he was setting up companies in SE Asia for Russian money to flee too. Most of 2022, it was Central Asian nations, former SSRs.

Related to 1 above. All geographic restrictions on the use of western provided weapons against military targets should be lifted. No need to advertise it in a public document though.
That's not gonna happen. The last thing the Biden administration wants is for Ukraine to win this war, especially before the election. It's much easier to get votes by helping to kill Russians than it is to get votes by paying to rebuild Ukraine.

The guy who had been Putin's greatest US propagandist is continuing to branch out:

Sumlenny, LL.M
@sumlenny
A background for understanding today's #fire at Russian "#Wildberries" warehouse in #Petersburg. Russian companies obliged to pay a "slave toll" to the army, delivering a number of recruits. Some companies pay ransoms to protect employees. Wildberries, a Russian clone of Amazon, did the opposite: they mass-delivered slave soldiers, allegedly against some privileges for their business. Since 2022, Wildberries helped police to mass-arrest employees and forcibly recruit them. They pushed personnel out of the offices and warehouses into streets, where police waited for them, and arrested for the army. It was a well-known practice. Only in September 2022, Wildberries delivered 3,000 slave soldiers to the army, so many, that their warehouse in Koledino, Moscow region, could not function anymore. According to rumours, today's fire in Petersburg was set by employees who were furious about the plans of their slave owners to sell them to the army.

The government can and does seize your assets when you were in the midst of a crime.

If you Google civil asset forfeiture you'll find that you don't need a conviction (or even be criminally accused for that matter) to to have everything you own seized by the govt.
In fact if your items are seized you have to prove them innocent for them to be returned

irony here being most of the people making those arguments voted for people who championed that

Another fun fact, Trump is a big supporter of civil asset forfeiture.

You make me fricking sick. Even though you’re clearly just trying to be an immature shithead troll to get responses like i’m giving you right now I still need to just tell you how much you deserve to have your face curb stomped on a sidewalk for even playing around with statements like slava Russia. You’re a true piece of shite and don’t s deserve to breathe the air the rest of humanity does. If you love Russia and Putin so damn much then why don’t you move to Moscow? I’ll wait.

The forces behind Ukraine are a far greater threat to our quality of life than Russia is. If you do not see this you are a naive sheep.
