Fool me once. But sometimes when I think people can't believe the MSM anymore, I gander at this thread. It's not as many as I had feared though.
Luckily there are only tens of y'all still believing.

Ukraine still needs to find at a minimum another 50,000 soldiers though. It’s a fact they don’t have the amount of people Russia does but their forces have pretty much all been on the lines for extended periods and they are slim as far as reserves. I know Zelensky has been very reluctant to sign a draft order that’s been on his desk since June so you know it’s got to be bad if he isn’t taking an opportunity to get more men to rotate forces out and around.

Which is why this war is over

This is like the 5th time you've said such on this board. But people keep right on dying.
Let us know when Russia decides to go home and end it for good. Until then, it's gonna keep going.

At this point, Russia is home. They took what they wanted.

British Defence Intelligence
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 4 December 2023
Between 24 February 2022 and November 2023, official Russian MoD forces likely suffered between 180,000 and 240,000 personnel wounded and approximately 50,000 killed. Wagner Group mercenaries likely suffered approximately 40,000 wounded and 20,000 killed.
Therefore, overall, the Russian side has likely suffered around 220,000-280,000 wounded and approximately 70,000 killed. This gives an estimated range of between 290,000 and 350,000 total Russian combatant casualties. The median of the estimate range is 320,000 total Russian combatant casualties.
Even amongst Russian officials there is likely a low level of understanding about total casualty figures because of a long-established culture of dishonest reporting within the military.

You do realize they don't control 100% of any oblast they "annexed" excluding Crimea right and they are still conducting offensive operations

They wanted a lot more. They don't even control the Donbas or Odessa. And they've had to remove their fleet from Sevastopol because they can't defend their navy from missile attacks. They don't even have air superiority over eastern Ukraine or Crimea.

Yeah, it’s cope to pretend either side has what it wants.
Ukraine wants all of its land back, but that’s not going to happen. Russia wants a non-aligned Ukraine, but that’s not going to happen, either.

Russia has said that its conditions for "peace talks" is that Ukraine disarm itself
Basically: turn into Belarus and we'll stop killing you.
Better to keep fighting than to cut a "peace deal" with Russia

White House: U.S. to run out of money for Ukraine by end of year
by Elsa Court and The Kyiv Independent news desk December 4, 2023 2:06 PM
The U.S. is set to run out of funds to support Ukraine in the coming weeks if Congress does not take action, White House Budget Office Director Shalanda Young informed congressional leaders in a letter on Dec. 4.
Concerns for the continuation of U.S. support to Ukraine have grown after months of infighting in Congress over government spending, including military aid for Ukraine.
"There is no magical pot of funding available," Young warned. "We are out of money—and nearly out of time."
Of the $111 billion so far approved by Congress to support Ukraine, the Defense Department has used 97% of its $62.3 billion budget for Ukraine, according to the White House.
The State Department has used 100% of the $4.7 billion it received to spend on military aid for Ukraine.
The State Department, together with USAID, has used 100% of the $27.2 billion earmarked for economic and civilian security assistance, which includes programs like humanitarian demining.

A d you'd have it no other way. You won't have the capacity for the fight much longer. I'm sure those men that Zelensky is kidnapping from the bus stations are getting smarter than that.

I never thought that Ukraine would crumble at the outset after looking at the size of their army at the time along with the fact that they were fighting for home and hearth as well as some very nasty scores to settle with Moscow.
I confess, I did not know much about Ukraine at the outset of the war. I estimated that Russia would overwhelm them with their overwhelming numbers of tanks, artillery, planes and of course men.
They had plenty time to plan, I’m sure they knew their opponent well, and that they would roll up the Ukrainian defenses in short order causing a nation wide collapse.
I expected Biden and the West would make a few speeches and wouldn’t help Ukraine much if at all.
