Who do you HONESTLY think has lost more young men, Russia or Ukraine?
I’d guess Russia only because attackers usually lose more than invaders, but there’s no way for me to know.

Now then ... compare the size of the two national populations.
Ukraine is definitely losing a greater per cent of their population than Russia. But every Ukrainian that has died lost their life defending their homeland; while every Russian that died lost their life to feed Putin’s ambitions.

I never wanted war, I never cheered on the Russians, and I had no impact one way or another. I was afraid for the Ukrainians. Putin did what he thought he needed to do to bring back the old empire. Those supporting him are the war mongers.

Key Takeaways:
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s December 1 decree is likely a formal recognition of the Russian military’s current end strength and not an order to immediately increase the number of Russian military personnel.
Ukrainian air defense coverage along the front line is reportedly incentivizing Russian forces to rely more heavily on remote strikes with glide bombs.
Ukrainian officials appealed to international organizations to investigate video footage published on December 2 showing Russian forces killing surrendering and reportedly unarmed Ukrainian soldiers.
Russian forces launched a series of missile and drone strikes on the night of December 2 and 3.
The Russian government is likely continuing attempts to censor relatives of mobilized Russian military personnel on social media out of concern about their protests’ possible negative effect on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s still unannounced 2024 presidential campaign.
A prominent Russian milblogger claimed to have given a “masterclass” to press heads and communications personnel at Russian state-owned defense conglomerate Rostec, likely in support of an effort that allows the Russian government to normalize the war without directly involving the Kremlin.
The milblogger’s “masterclass” represents an avenue by which the Kremlin can further benefit from milbloggers and shows how possible financial incentives could temper milbloggers’ criticisms of the Russian leadership.
Russian forces conducted offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, near Bakhmut, near Avdiivka, west and southwest of Donetsk City, in the Donetsk-Zaporizhia Oblast border area, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast and advanced near Avdiivka.
Russia continues to use the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) to indoctrinate Russian children into Russian nationalism and set conditions for long-term force generation efforts.
Russian occupation officials continue to strengthen the Kremlin-backed United Russia party in occupied Ukraine ahead of the March 2024 Russian presidential elections.

Exactly. Russia and the ppl who support Russia are the warmongers. The people supporting Ukraine are war enablers since we support Ukraine being able to defend itself. War enabling =\= war mongering.

Helping a country defend itself is not war mongering.

You have no idea. I prayed there would be no war, but alas your godfather Putin had other ideas, you and all the other Russian apologists push the Russian line every day painting them as the ones who are being treated unjustly. This is ridiculous.

It’s never Putin’s fault. Bah humbug.

You'd prefer to exclude the Donetsk filmed tortures by Ukrainian forces?
But "in this case" the fault lies solely with Putin.

We didn’t draw them into a war. The USA/CIA were not involved with the Euromaiden. Russia illegally annexed Crimea and invaded Ukraine. That’s the truth. The shite you spew about the USA drawing Ukraine into a war is Russian propaganda.

The only people who were armed during the Euromaiden were the Ukrainian government special police and Russian mercenaries shooting unarmed protesters. Unless you consider shields made from sheet metal and homemade batons arms.

Ukraine asked the UN human rights organization to come investigate if the videos were valid and for war crimes violations. The UN agreed but like everything it does it takes forever and it has not issued a report of its findings yet.
What about the separatists or Russian forces who shot down a civilian airliner in 2014? What about the slaughter of civilians in Bucha?

And the other members of his government.

I never thought that Ukraine would crumble at the outset after looking at the size of their army at the time along with the fact that they were fighting for home and hearth as well as some very nasty scores to settle with Moscow.
Now, trickle trickle, Ukraine's weapons are better at a lot of levels. Greater accuracy and better range does a lot to balance the scales.
Russians are cold, wet and being killed with less than competent leadership and that will take a heavy toll on morale in Putin's useless adventurism. Ukrainians are cold, wet and under great stress too, but they know what they are fighting for.

Invasion causes war. Putin has expressed his dreams of being the contemporary Peter the Great. Ukraine had no plans to invade Russia.
However, it has been a very long and costly 2 weeks for Putin's "special operation."

The separatists in Ukraine are largely the product of Stalin's Russification campaign after he liquidated and starved to death million of Ukrainians. Ukraine will never forget or forgive that.
