Seriously, though, what Prigozhin did today is deal a severe blow to the Russian war effort. He told the Russian public that the official reasons for the special military operation were all lies, and that the real reason that their kids are dying is because Shoigu wanted military glory and oligarchs wanted to get richer off of an occupied Ukraine.
He was careful not to implicate Putin, implying that Shoigu tricked him into the war, but I still wonder how Putin can tolerate this.

There is some logic to the suggestion that assigning blame to the MoD for misleading Putin can give Putin a way out. Perhaps the messaging from the nightly TV propagandists will give us insight into what’s actually going on. At this point, however, it doesn’t appear that the Russians are being primed to accept a total withdrawal.

I feel confident now in saying that either Shoigu or Prigozhin is going to end up in prison or dead in six months. One or the other -- they aren't both going to end up continuing to live their lives as they have done.

Read somewhere on Twitter this morning that Russia is considering abandoning Crimea. Obvious implication is someone thinks they're needed at home for the upcoming coup attempts/civil war.

Am I reading this correctly, he's talking about taking out the Russian MOD? I wonder how much combat power Wagner has left?
The most effective Russian military unit in this war is being directly attacked by the Russian army.
Jesus what a shite show this is for Russia. It's damn good for Ukraine though.
