I have mixed feelings on this.
The US had elections during WW2; however, we didn't have to deal with the potential of our adversaries interfering with our election.
There is a lot of history of election problems in Ukraine and it wouldn't be easy to campaign for reelection while he's trying to win a war.
One thing is for sure, Russia will use this against Ukraine...as will their propaganda fountains.
