Would make zero sense.
Would have a high risk of making the US a direct belligerent in Ukraine.

There are going to be all kinds of false reports tonight. Even in the morning, it will be hard to trust stuff.

Need to start seeing some positive reports for Ukraine. Everything that’s being posted is the pro Russian crap today

Ukraine is doing one hell of a job keeping the lid on any useful info.
In this day and age it’s remarkable

The fog of war combined with the psyops is going to make it difficult to trust either side. Eventually video will give a much better picture of what reality looks like

I’m no fan of Zelensky but the alternative is literally Putin. He’s become a bit of a Stalinist in his later years. He’s purged all but the sycophants and yes men. I for one think that in and of itself is dangerous.

Agreed though it is giving Russia the chance to set the information space, though if Ukraine start making real progress it will make them all the more brittle for it.

Breedlove said the same thing just yesterday.

Surfing twitter there is almost nothing from Ukraine feeds; however, the Russian feeds are full of posts about repelling Ukrainian attacks with Ukraine suffering heavy casualties. There is no confirming video or pictures…just comments

This is all I have seen in the past hour.

I've seen the same
Lots of talk, but no video. Which is strange, whenever they pull something off they blast videos of it for a week

You know Russia will happily show any destroyed western equipment as fast as possible. After the fiasco of trying to pass combines off as leopard tanks, maybe they will take time to double check everything….who am I kidding, this is Russia we are talking about

It was the middle of the night and sounded like a pretty intense skirmish, why would there be any videos yet? I didn't see anything tonight about Leopards being used in this but I am sure some will be claimed.

I did see a way to sort through the Russia accounts and see if Ukraine is making progress. I've not done but did see a few tweets that had, basically follow where Russia says they are successful. If they are moving away from the front line then Ukraine is advancing. If not, Russia is holding

Isw update

Key Takeaways
The destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (KHPP) dam is significantly changing the geography and topography of the Kherson frontline sector in southern Ukraine.
Ukrainian officials continued to accuse Russian forces of destroying the KHPP dam out of fear that Ukrainian forces would land on the east (left) bank Kherson Oblast.
The New York Times (NYT) reported that engineering and munitions experts believe that a deliberate explosion was the likely cause of KHPP dam’s collapse on June 6.
Russian forces and occupation authorities are responding to the flooding in Kherson Oblast with a great degree of disorganization and thereby exacerbating harm to the civilian population of occupied areas.
Select Wagner Group-affiliated Russian senior military officers continue to posture as effective commanders to appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin by capitalizing on high-profile military events.
The pro-Teplinsky interview is likely part of an information operation aimed at undermining the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD).
Wagner-affiliated commanders’ reactive public relations campaigns may not be sufficient to deflect from battlefield realities.
Russian and Ukrainian officials each accused the other state of damaging an ammonia pipeline that runs through Kharkiv Oblast and causing an ammonia leak.
Russian forces continued to conduct ground attacks around Kreminna.
Ukrainian officials indicated that Ukrainian forces are conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction as of June 7.
Russian forces continued limited ground attacks along the Avdiivka-Donetsk City line.
Russian sources continued to claim that Ukrainian forces conducted ground attacks on the administrative border between Donetsk and Zaporizhia oblasts on June 7.
Russian and Ukrainian forces reportedly engaged in skirmishes in western Zaporizhia Oblast.
Russian authorities continue to restrict international travel for those eligible for military service.
Russian officials and occupation authorities continue to establish patronage programs between Russian regions and occupied territories in order to integrate occupied territories into Russia.
