About 170 tanks, up to 100 guns and mortars of caliber over 100 mm, up to 200 combat vehicles and 9,000 soldiers will arrive from #Russia to #Belarus as part of a "regional grouping of troops".
So roughly one tank division.

It's about "the media," Trump, why the media doesn't like Mush, and why we should hate the media. It's not about Ukraine and doesn't belong in this thread. That's why you got downvoted.

1) It was me who got downvoted and
2) It’s clear that you didn’t understand the context of the post, most likely because you are intellectually incapable of doing so, which was the media is generally incompetent and attempting to deflect from their own terrible reporting and opinions on the war by shifting focus to Trump and Musk.

I'm not more or less of an a-hole than I've always been. The difference is since we don't agree on this, and I call out what I see as BS, you think I'm an a-hole for doing so.

you are not allowed to do this to either side. i get downvoted in this thread even if i am "ok" with the aide and certainly am pulling for ukraine and I do feel a destroyed russia is good for the US. but if i make any comment that is not toeing the line....people get pissed
same on poliboard. make one comment calling out something that is not toeing the line...get downvoted. like when trump went after Massie...trump was wrong...but how dare you critize.
is nauseating and otherwise good people have become so polarized they have forgotten to think for themselves.

Hopefully, the US has shared re: the guidance systems...
Ukroboronprom is developing weapons with a range of 1,000 km
Aviation Russia UAV War with Russia
Against the background of Russian air attacks, the Ukroboronprom State Concern announced the development of Ukrainian weapons with a target range of up to a thousand kilometers.
This was reported on the official page of the concern on Facebook.
The specifications of the new weapon system announced by the company:
Range — 1000 km,
The weight of the warhead — 75 kg.
According to the concern, the development of its own system is already at the final stage.
“Ukroboronprom has been operating in an intensified mode since the full-scale invasion. We tell you almost nothing (we have to, believe me), but this “nothing” operates successfully on the battlefield, and another “nothing” is repeatedly successfully tested. You will say, this is not enough. And we agree, that’s why we prefer to work 24/7 rather than flood the media space with loud statements,” Ukroboronprom reports.

Is he scared of nuke sabre rattling like OML?
Client this morning thinks that the Nuke threats are aimed at women and effeminate males who would otherwise support Ukraine.

This is an amazing story in an Estonian magazine. It's written by an Estonian journalist who extensively interviewed Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian intelligence officials.
It's a long article, and these are just a few excerpts. I really recommend reading the whole thing.
quote:
Toots wasn’t surprised by the atrocities committed in Bucha. Nor were any other of the counterintelligence agents I interviewed in Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania. They’re aware of how Russians conducted themselves in the Baltics during the Second World War. Of how they conducted themselves before that. Of how they’ve always behaved. The West lacks such awareness.
quote:
„When the war began, we were worried about people saying it was only Putin’s war,“ says Director General of the Latvian State Security Service Normunds Mežviets as we speak in a soundproof office in a featureless building located in a suburb of Riga. His diction is soft, brisk, and punctilious, just like that of your favorite psychiatrist. Russians are no strangers to Mežviets. He grew up among many Russian-speakers and scuffles were an everyday occurrence.
quote:
When Director of the Lithuanian State Security Department Darius Jauniškis served in the Soviet military, he was constantly confronted by Russian soldiers with an intent to dominate.
„I fought them,“ he says, „because I knew that as soon as you submit to their will, you become their slave. But if you strike back, then you might even earn their trust.“
quote:
That is precisely how Baltic counterintelligence officers refer to Russia – not ‘it’, but ‘they’. The war in Ukraine is not Putin’s war. The cruelty is not Putin’s. The rapes, murders, gouged eyes, hangings, and burned corpses aren’t special tactics employed by Russia’s leader. It is Russia as a whole.
quote:
„When we tried explaining to our partners that Russia can’t be trusted, they denied it,“ another adds, visibly resentful. Georgia, the Crimea – nothing changed. „And here we are in 2022.“ Several interviewees imply that they’ve had to tirelessly remind Western partners of the dangers of such naiveté.
quote:
However, problems persist among politicians and heads of foreign intelligence agencies. Denial. Dismissal. Reducing everything to Putin and his closest circle because one shouldn’t pigeonhole all Russians or believe there exist common national characteristics.
Baltic counterintelligence officers’ conclusions about Russia are obverse. As one remarks: „Our understanding has been the polar opposite of the West’s.“ We coinhabit the world with a country whose citizenry primarily adheres to a code of force. The war in Ukraine was not a surprise, but rather a logical progression. And at some point, it will repeat again.
quote:
I drive back to Estonia. A few days later, we celebrate my great-aunt’s birthday. She’s turning 100. Her children say she’s in good shape, still as sharp as a tack, and climbed up onto the roof to teach the chimneysweep a thing or two just a few years ago. However, she hasn’t slept well since February 24th. Insomnia struck after reading the news of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
„She’s afraid,“ say her children. „She’s afraid the rapists will come back again.“
It's a long article, and these are just a few excerpts. I really recommend reading the whole thing.

But they are fighting globalism right....The Russian military is especially effective against unarmed women and children, thats their specialty.
Every time a Russian dies the world becomes a better place.

Germany and Japan had their reckoning after WWII. Russia has never had to deal with its past. You see lots of Soviet symbols all over Russia, and tons of Soviet paraphernalia on Russian troops.
That's one reason that Russia losing this war will be good for the world in many ways.
