Russia, Serbian presidents agree on further gas supplies - Kremlin
quote:
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday he had agreed on a three-year gas supply contract in a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I can not speak about the price now, all details will be agreed with Gazprom," Vucic told reporters.
Serbia's 10-year gas supply contract with Gazprom GZAVI.MM expires on May 31.
Vucic said that he had also discussed with Putin the expansion of gas storage space in the Balkan country.
The two leaders also discussed the issue of Ukraine and Kosovo, according to the Kremlin.

Serbs gonna Serb. At this rate, Russia will become an EU member before Serbia will.

Without looking at the list I could have told you that corruption is endemic in southern and Eastern Europe. Greece is famous for their corruption and tax evasion, and apparently they aren’t as bad as I thought.

So who is paying for these weapons with this superb Ukrainian economy? In addition, let’s say Russia turns Ukraine in to a giant landlocked Moldova after the war, how will they pay us back?

Pay us back? How has anyone ever paid us back?
Did we make them a loan? What were the terms? Interest rate?
Do I sense ANOTHER shift in the goal posts?

So we’re just burning billions of dollars for nothing? Russia isn’t annexing all of Ukraine, get over it.

What guarantees did we have from the Brits in 1941? Ukraine needs help now, we'll worry about all that later. If your neighbor's house is on fire and he needs a hose do you give him a hose or do you demand he pay you for it first?

Jeez idk, the British Empire seems more capable of paying us back then some landlocked backwater post war Eastern European country with a chance of regime change? I guess I’m just silly then lol.

This is an interesting bit.
There are Americans that need homes yet we send billions to Ukraine.

That is such a tired argument. If we had the political will to help the homeless then we would do it but we don’t so it’s a non issue. People are not homeless because of the help we are giving the Ukrainians.

So we should just dump 40 billion plus to satisfy your AntiRussia boner?

But you guys are using the same tired arguments as well.
Years and years of debt.
Are you really suggesting the billions in Ukraine benefit America more than spending it here?
If we don’t send money, are we to be invaded next?

Ok so what is the formula for dollars spent = return on that?
Because that suggest spending al that here is not as useful?
How many tanks, ships, planes, missiles can we buy for us with that instead?

40 billion to set the Russian army and economy back for years upon years. If Putin hadn’t made clear to the worlds stage that he has completely lost his mind and ability to reason then things would be different but when you have a corrupt guy that’s now mentally unstable with a nuclear stockpile you pay $40 billion to hope that helps overthrow him, especially if it keeps American blood from being spilled. We can make that money back and I’m by no means a Democrat but you spend that money regardless of party and supply an army that has proven to you that it is willing and capable to stand toe to toe with Russia. Russia would have a much harder time supporting a lengthy war and replacing so much expensive war material note the T-62’s and artillery pieces from the 50’s.
