Read the article.
Contractors smelled human remains, oh really?

Cadaver dogs alerted to possible human remains, but none had been found more than 12 hours after the car was dug up, according to Atherton police Cmdr. Daniel Larsen.

The South is covered in abandoned vehicles on people's land.
I used to deer hunt out of an abandoned 57 Chevy car in the woods. Seat was still intact and comfy

Would a submerged bag of concrete ever harden? Apparently, yes. LINK This says it cures harder, but it takes about a month.
Who’d have thunk it?

Damn I saw Paul Allen’s name and said to myself so this is where they buried the real Bill Gates.

Well he will be one at some point

The remains are inside the concrete bags.
1. Chop body
2. Open bags
3. Put parts inside bags with loose concrete
4. Add moisture
5. Reseal bags
I am in the middle of something and I don't have time to write any of this down, but stay near your phone. Imma call you later to go a little deeper on the particulars.

Source?
The article implies former residents of the town/zip code not the house.

Now a name for the former owner:
LINK
And, perhaps finally, it would be really convoluted to blame a previous owner:
LINK
quote:
Johnny Bocktune Lew lived at the Stockbridge Avenue estate in the exclusive Atherton neighborhood from sometime in the 1990s — which is when police believe the vehicle was filled with unused concrete bags and buried 4 to 5 feet below the dir — through 2014, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Lew, who died in 2015, has a long criminal history and spent six years in prison for murder and attempted murder charges. His murder conviction was eventually overturned.
While studying at El Camino Junior College in Los Angeles County in 1964, Lew met fellow student Karen Gervasi. They began seeing one another, though Lew was still married to a cousin he tied the knot with three years earlier.
The next year, Gervasi died from a single gunshot wound at Lew’s apartment. He alleged she accidentally shot herself while he was showing her a gun he used at firing ranges. But he was convicted of her murder.
quote:
It was not the only time Lew was accused of trying to end someone’s life.
Lew spent three years in prison after he was convicted on two counts of attempted murder charges in 1977.
And, perhaps finally, it would be really convoluted to blame a previous owner:
quote:
Lew’s daughter, Jacq Searle, 34, told the Chronicle she was shocked to learn about the car buried beneath the home she once lived in with her father, who she says he built the mansion.

I heard the divorce story. The big hump in the yard is still there.

He was convicted of a murder that occurred in 1965. No date for the actual murder conviction, but he was out of prison by 1977 when he was on trial again.

He would only serve three years for trying to kill two people.

With that much ch privacy, how liberal were the owners.

"KTVU has learned that the car in question is a Mercedes 560 SL with a personalized license plate linked to former homeowner Johnny Bocktune Lew, who moved to Washington state and has since died. Police believe the car was buried at about the same time it was reported stolen."

It's Al Bundys Dodge.

Which totally fits the dude's insurance fraud way of living that got him in trouble.
From what I linked above: he got himself arrested by hiring two men to take his boat out of SanFrancisco Bay into international waters and sink it there.
They reported it sunk.
BUT the two men he hired were both police and they had taken the boat to another harbor, and then collected what he owed them for the sinking, and then got himself arrested for insurance fraud.

You've never seen a concrete bag retaining wall...? They build boat launches with them all around Lake Fork in Texas.
