I get it because, without it, you can tell exactly what I am thinking.... It is not always a good thing.
re: Landscapers find concrete-filled car buried for decades in yard of Silicon Valley mansion
Posted by labratz on 10/21/22 at 10:38 pm to Sl0thstronautEsq
"KTVU has learned that the car in question is a Mercedes 560 SL with a personalized license plate linked to former homeowner Johnny Bocktune Lew, who moved to Washington state and has since died. Police believe the car was buried at about the same time it was reported stolen."

The happiest homeless people I have ever encountered were in Santa Monica. I guess I would choose there.
Everyone loves a good comeback story.

Bankston suspects that LSU hierarchy wanted to get rid of the Illinois IT specialists because of their criticism of the university relying on an IBM mainframe that is no longer supported by IBM and must be repaired with parts found on eBay. It uses the outdated programming language of COBOL. The 43-year-old computer system handles LSU’s tuition, payrolls, student services and other critical functions.
But LSU has an awesome lazy river.

I went to the John Schneider thing. It was pretty fun. There was lots to do. The kids were entertained and so were we. I will probably go back next year.
I plan to go to Rockin' the Bayou. I am just feeling 80's vibe these days.

re: What's your earliest memories of grocery shopping?
Posted by labratz on 3/25/18 at 9:21 pm to CatsGoneWild
Earliest grocery store memory--- An african american boy in my kindergarten class, Peter, saw me at Schwegmans and started chasing me because he wanted to pet my hair. I had snow white hair and I guess he was intrigued by it. Our teacher kept him away from me at school. I guess he figured I was fair game at the grocery store.
I ran down the isle and scrambled into my mom's shopping cart and started burying myself in groceries while my mom was yelling at the kid "What are you doing? Get away!" His mother drug him away.
I wonder what Peter is doing today?

We used mosquito magnet for years. I liked it. It floated away and has not been replaced yet.

On a side note... Remember that tag line
"Secret antiperpsirant. Strong enough for a man, pH balanced for a woman?"
This ad really confuses me.

It is a mental issue or a neurological issue. If they could fix what is going on in the brain it would probably be healthier for the body than to pump it full of silicone and hormones.
I have a feeling that the trans population would find that offensive.
