Chris was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA and attended Episcopal High School.
Only in Louisiana does a CEO have to include his high school in his bio.

That developer just made a pretty smart move. That’s gonna be a sweet paycheck once all that is finished
Infill projects in this part of BR are insanely popular right now.
And to those trying to figure out the location, I’m guessing it’s going to be that L shaped property that is behind the Firefighters Retirement Association and goes all the way back to McIlhneey.
Only other thought is the lot at Fairway and Brentwood with the house they tore down and adding a few more of the tear downs to the north to make that a 2.5 acre lot.

plans to build a 13-lot subdivision on the property.
Are the houses going to be built on top of each other?

I have no desire to live like that. It was fun when I was younger, boring as hell as I got older.
How old are you?
Living in big cities was fun when I was younger and in to the social scene/chasing arse. No way in hell did I ever consider living in a rural setting.
Now I'd rather live on a couple hundred acres and spend my time hunting/fishing/hiking because the general public annoys the shite out of me.

That ends up being approximately 70' x 115' lots. Pretty standard sized lots for a subdivision. Nothing noteworthy though.

I live on Brentwood so I am interested in this as well.

My first house was on s 70X120 foot lot and was 1600 square feet. I paid $36,900.00 for it back in the day.
A 3000 square foot house would need to be two story to fit on that lot.

It'll be really cool to open your window and reach across and borrow some rice from your neighbor's kitchen without leaving yours.
Your neighbors are Asian?

That's about 11 homes too many on that tract

There are two vacant homes between this property and the new house near the corner of Brentwood and Jefferson.

but I'd rather an old house to remodel than a cookie cutter McMansion.
Those houses were mostly cookie cutter in their day too.

Sounds trashy. The bluehairs at BRCC can't be pleased
We will be ok, we have a nice fence down that side. For record my hair is brown ??. In all seriousness I think that development will be slow progressing with sales just due to location, traffic at both points of exit and surrounding houses. What the selling point near BRCC and views of the green fence. The development Nanette did on Brentwood was slow going.

I have a 1950 sq ft house on a zero property line lot. It is only 0.14 acres and it is all I want.
I hate yard work and I don't feel like there is any lack of privacy at all.

They are going to be smaller than that. You have to account for a street to access the houses.

I’m not exactly sure what vacant piece of land this is going on, but I do like that area.

You couldn’t pay me to live in that area. It took me 30 minutes to get 2 miles last week. And that was at 4 pm

Sounds exactly the same as The Preserve off Bluebonnet.

I worked at a little men's suit shop right there, the traffic to get to the interstate backs up past CCL to get to the interstate during rush hour. It also takes forever to get off the interstate at Highland too, but it will be part of St George and is one of the few good areas in Baton Rouge.
