Today’s pop tarts are trash. Frosting coverage is skimpy.

Bruh, I worked at Popeye's in high school. I had to make 9 family onion rings (20 per family order) to start the shift; that's all that would fit in the fridge. Almost always had to make 4-6 more.

How they were made:

1 bag pre sliced raw onion
1 pouch seasoning
whole milk
flour

Mix the seasoning into the milk. Add 20 onion rings to the basket. Dunk in seasoned milk. Dredge in flour. Dunk in milk. Dredge in flour. Fry.

I don't know why they dropped them; they were insanely popular.

I miss Popeyes onion rings. They were more of a draw than the chicken to me.
