The most impressive sound I ever heard from a hitter was when I watched Mark Prior (yes, the pitcher) taking BP in Houston one night. He crushed every single ball, it was wild.

we really enjoyed the skytop bar

Which skytop bar? Just booked for a 3 day trip as a surprise for my wife's birthday and it looks like there are several rooftop bars.
Definitely check Turo, that is all we use now.
Thank you all for the recs, we ended up with 2 free days and did Wet N Wild water park one day and the Greensboro Science Center, both were big hits.
We like going into a vacation with just a simple list of places to go and places to eat and then adjust on the fly. Anything else is stressful.
About 2 miles, between beach days and playing volleyball, 3-4 times a week when it's warm.
Word around town here is that this is the bachelorette party, and that Travis is actually in Los Angeles right now.
I live about 5 miles away, and as the crow flies the airport is less than 1/2 mile from my house, and have not seen or heard any increase in traffic/activity.

I'd say MJ, but I have no problem if some choose LeBron. He's incredible

You are the first person I have ever heard that is team MJ but open to the possibility that LeBron may be better, kudos to you. Usually it is that nobody ever will be better than MJ
Yes, but the choke by the 2010 Boston Bruins vs my Flyers was worse. Boston was also up 3 games to 0, Boston had game 7 at home, and in game 7 Boston took a 3-0 lead and STILL lost.
Of those that made the cut, the guy that finished in LAST place was -3.
Autographs of my 3 childhood sports heroes, 2 of which I obtained in person as a teenager. Willie Stargell, Dr. J, and Fran Tarkenton. I have a few other athletes autographs that I got in person too (Joe Montana and Brools Robinson for example), but these 3 are all displayed in my office.

Family ideas in Greensboro, NC

Will be there in late June and will have a day or two free to do things with the family, looking for fun ideas. Kids and 9 and 7.
I love the Wilmer McClean story with how the war started near him in Manassas so he moved to Appomattox to get away from it, only for it to end at his house.
Target Field if the Twins are playing. We went to a game last September and it is a beautiful park and tickets at that time of year were like $6 apiece.
