I lease rental properties out here. Its amazing how many northern colorado rentals dont have AC. Even at 106 today it will get in high 60s tonight

I lived in Littleton many years ago and was suprised to find how hot it was during the day there. 50-degree temperature swings between day and night made it somewhat manageable to sleep. Coming from Louisiana I would never consider a place to live without air conditioning, though!

We all know August will be maximum swamp arse. The first half of September too, but we are on the downhill side of summer at least.

Getting down into the 60's won't cool off the house; been there done that!

We made that mistake in Durango a few years back when renting a very nice cabin on top of mountain.

Asked the property management company about it and they assured us we would be fine due to elevation.

Yeah that turned out to be complete BS because the room wouldn't cool down until well after midnight.

Swore I'd never do it again until we went to Europe last week. All the hotels said they had AC which I guess means they have a thermostat b/c they sure as didn't have anything blowing cold air into the room.

It sure beats the dog heat we’ve been dealing with.

At least today when I sweat it actually dries out. Humidity sucks the life out. Today felt light and the sun isn’t too bad.
