Just passed another one in the pisser at work today. When they leave the kidney on the way to the bladder, shite is the most painful thing ever. That was my 8th one in 15 years.

How’d it compare to the pain of labor and delivery, ma’am?

What are you doing to yourself to get so many kidney stones?

The wrong fricking thing. My mom had 23 of those things and she eventually died from the complications of having a stent replaced every three months. Good luck, OP.

I've never had kidney stones so I've never had to take it. I have family members who have and they swear by it.

I've had a dozen or so. Figured out that my gluten sensitivity reactions were drying me out. Got off the gluten and no more stones.

I’m hopped up on stone meds now. Pissed one out today, pretty sure I got another lurking. 3 or so a year for last 22 years, almost all this time of year, usually 2-3 at the same time.

If he drank 125oz of water a day he’ll never get another stone.

Broken a lot of bones in my life, but nothing is worse than stones.

Especially the ones over .5mm

Like others have said, the science behind your diet may resolve it.

I've never had one. I drink plenty of water every day and maybe 1 soft drink a week.

I have seen a guy offshore years ago with them. He was screaming bloody murder. I could hear his screams 2 decks above him. Inside. They sent a boat for him with a 6 hour transit. I think I would have jumped overboard instead of riding 6 hours in pain.

I was having cold sweats and throwing up nothing but water for three hours until the pain subsided.

When I was in college I didn't have insurance, so I'd have to go to charity in Lafayette. Typical wait was about 6-8 hours. Nothing like vomiting in a charity hospital waiting room restroom...

I feel your pain. I've passed over 20 so far and have had 5 removed while under anesthesia.

Biggest one I passed on my own was 1/4 inch round and 1/2 inch long. That thing had me on the floor in a fetal position in pain for a few days before it finally came out.

The biggest one in my kidney was 3/4 inches round and I had to take drugs to break it up chemically so it could make it's way out in several pieces. That was a fun summer.............NOT

Had a few in my 40's. Urologist told me to start using citric acid in my diet (Lemon juice in water). He said it helps the stone material dissolve. Since then, haven't had one.
