Yeah, it was already a story that gained national interest, but I think the HBO special grew the amount of people who is now following. That's the case for me at least.

I wish AJ would include something about this judge and her bias in his closing argument when explaining how far the cover-up may go..

If they deal with it I'm guessing the time for that would be after the trial and unfortunately might require a guilty verdict. I'm willing to bet the defense would be fine with getting a not guilty verdict and moving on.

I don't think that would be a very good idea for him, and I don't think it would help influence the jury at all.

Aside from the fact that disparaging the judge like that is against the rules and would cause her to excuse the jury and go nuts on Jackson.

From 6:04 - 6:15 John’s phone took hundreds of steps. Why would anyone that isn’t law enforcement touch or pick up his phone on a potential crime scene?

I’m assuming they genuinely didn’t realize the vast amount of data you can pull from a phone now a days. Otherwise they would have dumped it with their own in a random dumpster.

McLaughlin acts like a tranquilized circus lion. My guess is that it’s easier when you have to lie on the stand, it won’t show your anxiety.

Firefighter Katie McLauhhlin:
She claims Karen told her she hit him 3 times. Also, she’s the one who lied about being friends with Caitlin Albert. On the stand last year, Katie said “I believe I went to school with a Caitlin Albert”, then the defense whips out social media photos of the two of them hugging in bikinis!
So many of the Commomwealth witnesses are liars!
Edited: My bad, I can’t see who is on the stand now, I am following it on Attorney Melanie Little’s channel. It’s behind because she pauses throughout to give analysis or explanations. So it may not still be Katie.
