Asking the fans to "keep their own opinion out of it"
The whole premise of any of this shite is for people to put their opinions in. This is an opinion festival. Understand that ESPN is a liberal propaganda machine, masquerading as a network aboot sports.

Yah the “moment of unity” was our national anthem when 70,000 fans plus every player used to stand proudly and celebrate our country and our game and what we had in common.
The players and their Globalist allies in the media have shat all over that. So I approve of the fans who booed this new BS “moment of unity”

I never know when you’re serious or joking

The entire season was about unity and equality for the players preaching to the rest of the country. 99% of us understand both and don't need weekly reminders to not be an a-hole.
It's the first game of the season after a rough year for everyone, the fans want football, not multiple anthems and moments of silence. This shite is not complicated to understand.

The NFL is working overtime scrubbing the video from the web

Good. No one should support any kind of movement that says they want to get rid of the police and dismantle the western nuclear family. frick BLM (the movement).

This, buying a ticket is paying to protest.

They are very much so supporting the movement because they are the ones that are paying tickets to go watch these games. Very contradicting.

Some people are tired of having politics shoved down our throats in all aspects of life.

If the players did this stuff without the kneeling during the anthem I could abide it. But the kneeling during the anthem is a calculated insult, and for that I will insult them back.

mean I don’t think booing a moment of silence was necessary
No it is necessary. Have to let them know that the average middle class person is sick and tired of this shite. The fans don’t pay for tickets to get hit with politics. They pay for those tickets to watch football.

I'm normally a huge NFL fan and have been pretty quiet about a boycott because I'm not sure I can stick to it. But I asbsolutely had no idea there was a game last night. My co-worker (black, former NCAA BBall player) asked me about the game last night and I didn't really knbow what to say. I don't want to say I'm boycotting it because I don't need friction at work over political issues and we keep political issues strictly off limits.
I just went with the whole 'no preseason has me all thrown off' and I forgot about the season opener, which is kinda true also but it's more than that.
I think I'm going to just say I'm taking a year off of betting and cable and avoid the topic. You'd have to know the relationship I have with this guy to truly get it. He's a very smart, family oriented, but very private black man. Very respectable in most senses but man, he can hold a grudge. Just don't want to piss in my own daily bed when I hate my job enough and have friction with this guy over totally non-racial, non-political reasons. I manage him and we manage a team together so we're peers, but I have the senority. It's a blurred line and we need to see eye to eye on things to make it work and that's been tough with workplace issues.

Twitter took down the video of the fans booing. Wtf. They don’t want you to know that people disagree with BLM

quote:Talking heads do what they're told. They tried to include "fans" in the group of people who were "disgusted," but it's kind of hard to claim that when the fans were the ones booing. They can pick out a few who will trumpet their message, but it's pretty clear that the majority of fans are sick of this shite.
