He's a great dude too....known him a loooooong time. She REALLY put his arse through the wringer. This case is only about a quarter of what makes her a terrible person.

What's the hold up? She was supposed to be sentenced 5.5 hours ago. Is she in chambers chicken heading her way to probation?

She's definitely going to prison. The state prosecutor, Charles Robinson, has pushed aggressively for prison time, calling her actions "deplorable, lewd, and corrupt." The prosecutor has pushed for aggravating circumstances during sentencing. This includes the fact that she was in a position of authority over the juveniles as the mayor and a parent hosting the party, as well as text messages showing she actively pressured witnesses to lie for her. The Doordash Plan B delivery, after the act.
Moreover, her brother received 42 years for an unrelated sex crime in the same parish just months prior. The sentencing situation is very bad for Roberts.

KPLC didnt list it but the judge also said she wont be allowed to go to the homecoming dance even if she gets outta jail before

She still has to carry the lifetime burden of being a registered sex offender, but in terms of hard prison time, she avoided the hammer big time for two felonies.

She should serve time. Women predators should not get lighter sentences than men do. If sexes were reversed, the man would have gotten real time

You know damn well that there’ll be a CO who’s dying to get some of that, especially if she gets put into protective custody where inmates have more personal contact with guards.
