Watch Office Space. You’ll feel better afterwards.

Sorry man. If you need a place to stay the bums in my area usually camp in the Santa Ana riverbed.

ETA: Please don't bother me on my commute though. I won't give you change.

Great time of the year to start hiking the Appalachian Trail. PCT Kickoff is just around the corner as well.

trust me when i say this, it'll get better again.

i've been laid off twice in the last 5 years, and each time it was rough, but you realize that you can decompress a little bit before getting back into the job search/workforce.

use this time to do one thing...relax. do things around that house that you didn't have time to before. watch movies that you've been meaning to watch, go day drink at top golf or some shite.

this is assuming that you have a decent lot saved up at the moment.

then when you are ready to job search, then do it full force. but for now, just relax and enjoy the time off.

There’s a huge need for fluffers as long as you’re willing to work hard

Legit advice. Little over a year ago me and the family moved to Cali and I had a job all lined up. Ended up getting royally shafted by the job and was suddenly without employment. The next two months were pure hell for me as I frantically tried to find a job despite having a nest egg. Pure anxiety with waiting on the phone to ring or to receive an email on an interview or job offer. Looking back on it I really wished I had just chilled and took more of that time to relax and spend it with my son.

I know a large vitamin company that is shutting down their NJ (done), PA, and CA plants and moving everything to the Greenville, SC area.

You can describe it in general terms. Like if you say, "it's a leading, Fortune 500 provider of financial services" I'll figure it's probably Check-Into-Cash.

Don't move to Washington. Might be a good time to relocate to Madagascar.
