That’s sucks but I’ve been in your shoes. My last company (large retailer) told us 2 years in advance that we were being laid off but whoever stayed until the end would get a 6 month severance package. I stayed until the end and got started at my current job on the same week. Keep your head up. It worked out for me and the same can happen for you
