Our office consisted of about 70 folks and there are about 12 of us who have remained at the office and the rest are working from home and 16 got laid off.
We haven't made a concrete decision on when or what phase people will be coming back but it's kinda nice to have only 12-15 of us here.

I find it to be somewhat less efficient in my job. I can make it work though.
I've been back in the office part time for about 6 weeks now. I will say that working from home on Mondays kicks arse.

I'm sure most will be in the same boat. I am fine with teleworking but Covid can go frick itself.

We will be full remote through the end of the year, and I suspect that will continue to an extent and in some form into 2021 and beyond. Our type of work is very conducive to remote working, and we are seeing massive savings with no travel costs, which are pretty significant for us during normal times.
I felt like our industry could have been 80-90% remote for years, so this is turning into a good opportunity to shed the dated mindset of onsite work for the vast majority of the work we do.

Gym shorts and t-shirts since March. IT. We do have some projects this year that will require us to be at the office, but other than that my team could do 99% of their other work from Mars if needed (the network delay, lack of other infrastructure, and air would be a problem though).

Our corporate headquarters in Virginia are working remote through the end of the year. This was announced a few weeks back.

Yeah, I’ve been in IT for 9 years now and working from home was always a nice to have. My last job allowed it once per week. And the work gets done. That’s not the problem. The days can be mentally draining at home alone though. My son will be starting school normally. He goes to a small private school and they can social distance pretty easily.

The flexibility of work from home beats out being chained to a desk.
Some days, I work at the coffee shop.
Sometimes, I go to a family member's house.
Sometimes, I just actually work at home.
I once worked at the gym.
The work gets done. I don't have to pretend to stay busy.

My mom works for a major health insurance company. Their latest is, starting around Labor Day, half the people will work in the office for two weeks. Then they will work from home for two weeks, while the other half works from the office for two weeks. Then, if the first group has no problems, they will come back to the office for two more weeks, while the second group goes home. Then, if the second group has no problems, they will join the first group working at the office.
So basically, a 6-8 week transition period. They hope to have everyone back at the office by Halloween. High risk individuals will be allowed to continue to work from home through the end of the year.
